Incredible story, excellent art style…..etc, etc. I had no familiarity with this series until it was recommended to me by a friend, to who I am very grateful! I usually shy away from games of this type (puzzle/dialogue heavy), but I found myself so engaged with the story and characters throughout the entire experience, through the many endings that exist, and now seek more games of this caliber. Highly recommended.
This is a great series of games. It’s obvious they converted a handheld game to the console for this release, but they did add features to streamline the experience (and remove the need for touch control). I think it worked a little better as a handheld game, but this is still top quality, and the story more than makes up for any “clunkiness”. I would recommend if you’re a fan of puzzle games and mysteries.
Compared to the original versions of each game this was definitely a step up with with quick item change added to VLR and voice actors added to 999. Over all thoroughly enjoyed and would recommend

You get two visual novels here for the price of one and both are beyond amazing. The story, characters, music, and voice acting are all superb. Although both games are great, Virtue’s Last Reward is the standout among the two. It will stay with you for a long, long time after it has ended. I highly recommend using a guide when playing so you can grab all the endings because they are all worth your time. A+ to both of these games!
