Recieved it fast and it worked great.
I recall very vividly purchasing this game waaaay back when it first came out, only to get the cards it came with and return the game to the store I got it from. I’m ashamed to say that I never really gave it the chance it deserved. So, after about a year and a half of debating, I finally decided to pick this one up and play it. Boy, was I glad I did.STORY: 7/10It’s pretty basic and easy to understand. You, the player, have been summoned from present day to Medieval Europe as the legendary Rose Duelist, choosing to side with the wielders of the Red Rose or the wielders of the White Rose. Together with your chosen organization, you will travel all across England in order to gain the other side’s Rose Cards and either prevent the “Rose Summoning” or playing a role in its execution. What really surprised me about this game’s plot was that it actually takes real places, names, and excerpts from our own recorded history, and it blends it so successfully with the YuGiOh! forumla. It was done very well, but it would have been so much better if was a lot longer. With games like Falsebound Kingdom (another YuGiOh! game for the Gamecube), the story was almost exhaustively long. I would’ve preferred that for this one, too.GAMEPLAY: 9/10I loved it. DOTR takes a sort of Fire Emblem feel and mixes it with the famous–and not so famous–monsters and magic from the actual card game. You will engage in combat on a massive square-based grid, summon your creatures in decent 3D rendering, and fi.
Doesn’t even look used and came super quick thanks!
One of my favorite games as a kid. If you’re looking for a game to go off the show then this is it
It doesn’t follow the same rules as yu-gi-oh. It didn’t come with a manual. However, the disk was almost unscratched! I know its the same game, but I guess it was better when I was a kid.
Buy this now so much fun.
