I bought this mainly to try and beat my personal River Raid record of 95000 points circa 1985. The controllers have more play than the original ones used to (when new) but they still work fine. I bought a Slik Stik like i used to have and it works great but the port seems to be loose and the wire will fall out at the slightest pull, i had to use tape to snug it up. The game selection is good, quite a few Activision classics are included. Space Invaders, Frogger and possibly others are not the original 2600 versions, but are improved versions. All in all a great trip down memory lane, and a reminder that i’m not nearly as quick as i used to be!
Was worth it just to get pitfall. It was my favorite game. space invaders and frogger too are on this game console.

This was a gift that was purchased with the idea of presenting an alternate gaming choice for my son and his friends. It is an excellent game console and one that I venture to say many Mom’s as myself would opt for given the following aspects: It’s great fun; doesn’t clog the gamer’s mind; homegrown goodness concept.

Very cool old school gaming system. Extremely easy to hook up to your tv. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because almost all the games are one player. Disappointment for my daughter when she has a friend over and they want to play together.
