This is considered a classic for the 2600 for good reason as it has both great graphics and good solid gameplay. This is a must have for any atari 2600 collecter.
fantastic! thanks for free haunted house with it

Yars Revenge..i remember this one so well… for the atari 2600… you play a Yar mutant house fly thats fighting an enemy that hides behind that all to famous “electronic static wall” you pick at it trying to get through ..it fires back at you… thats all you need here.sure, its simple, but the gameplay on this one is still addicting as ever in 2013…this proves again..the classic only get BETTER..plus, the comic book that was enclosed with it was a fun read..i still have it.
Very good game

This is not a shoot em up. Sure you shoot things. But this is not a SHMUP. It is like breakout in the fact that you destroy a wall. It is like Vangurd in the way that you shoot stuff. It is like Asteriods were you avoid things(OK that’s a stretch). Well this game has no genre. I give up it is ineffable. Name another game were you touch the boss to get the power to kill him. Name another game were a dot is trying to kill you at all times. Name another game that makes you no matter how much you play think your Atari is broken. Trust me it’s not that “pixely” crap is a force field. Which is awesome. How to play: OK first press THE button to shoot and destroy the wall that guards the white thingy. While doing that avoid the dot. As soon as you have broken the wall enough take your guy right up and touch the white thingy. As soon as that happens you have a dot that appears in the background. Line up that dot to the white thingy and FIRE!Buy if,You like AtariLike weird gamesWant to prank your friend by trying to make him figure it outDon’t buy if,You only like straightforward games,Can’t stand bad graphics,(why do you even own a 2600 if this is a problem!)Don’t have a genesis controller,(yep this is one of those)
These r one of the space shooting games. It is kind of weird but fun. The object is to shoot these things out of the way before u get the last one behind all of the bricks while they r moving up and down and it is shooting at u. It is multiplayer too but u have to take turns to play and whoever has the most points or does not dye first wins. Each time that u get the brick or whatever it is behind all of the others, u go to the next level which gets harder and harder. I would tell more but its been a long time since i have played it. It is a preety fun game but it gets hard.
One of the best games on the system. No 2600 collection is complete without this one.
Good quality as promised
