I’ll star off by saying you do not have to be familiar with this series AT ALL to play this game. I’ve never played any of them and I don’t feel as though I missed anything.Secondly, this is one of the most unique games I’ve ever played. If you’re an anime fan, you’ll love it. The game plays out as though you’re watching an anime, and making decisions that affect the story and outcome. Overall, it’s very interesting, and a fun game to try out.
This is a visual novel, as in, it is a semi-animated novel in which you lightly interact with the story itself to change the events contained within! It’s not everyone’s cup of tea, but for those of you who do enjoy them, this one is quite well done! The story follows Touya Kagari, a fairly kind young man with a tragic past who is compassionate to a fault, willing to put himself in harm’s way for the sake of others. This may be his greatest strength when it is discovered he can detect and track the presence of individuals that are possessed with a strange virus that corrupts them into horrible monsters! A mysterious agency, tasked with hunting down these monsters, recruits Touya into the fold, partnering him up with a near-emotionless soldier/bodyguard named Es, who is much more deadly than she looks. From there, Touya does his best to keep people safe from the dangers of these odd creatures, finding several allies along the way, and several enemies as well, and his past comes back to haunt him.Instead of just directly choosing what to do when prompted, in Xblaze you are constantly making choices based around where your attention is focused. By reading one article from the in-game ‘TOI’ system Touya gains knowledge pertaining to the story or the characters within, changing events just a bit. By doing this you choose between which of the heroines of the game you are most interested in, and a bit more! The story itself is pretty nice, fun and isn’t very confusing and actually ma.
Decent game, it’s just that a lot of times you WILL get stuck and have to visit the FAQs online. Its hard to know exactly how to get the correct ending even if you think you made all the right choices.
Really good storyline with excellent music and art style.
Item arrived in good condition. Thanks.
If you don’t know, a visual novel is like a storyline and ending that can be altered by making certain choices or fulfilling certain requirements through out the game. However, this game is different in that depending on what articles you look at, alters the coarse of the story. This game is intended to be finished first before you can choose which heroin you would like to pursue. Therefore a word of advice, read EVERY article the first run through the game.Other than that, this visual novel is HIGHLY recommended for people who enjoy a science-fiction romance storyline. Enjoy!
He loves it and the price better than department stores!
my son enjoys this video game and had no complaints
It’s great.
