I am not much into hack and slash games because I like guns, but I must say that this is a very good game. As far as superhero games go this rates second. First being of course Batman: Arkum Asylum. This game has crazy gore and violence so it is not for kids, but really, what game is nowadays. Ripping people apart and seeing Wolverines insides was just plain fun. You get to face off against other comic book characters such as Sabre Tooth, Gambit and Sentinels. This game can be difficult at times but that is no reason to give it a bad review. I would recommend this game to anyone who wants to have a good time.

I did not have high hopes for this game other than as an distraction until I was ready to dig in to “Dawnguard” DLC for Skyrim or the new “Harley Quinn” DLC for Arkham City. I had played a little of the demo – just enough to know it would be worth picking up when it hit $20 bucks. So I broke down & picked it up for a tad more than $20 & man am I pleased w/myself for waiting & getting this for,basically,a song.The fine lads & lasses @ Activision appears to have put a lot of love into to this title. I’m only about 1/2 way thru but I am enjoying myself tremendously & think I would not had been disappointed had I bought it @ retail when it came out. I truly mean that.This game is mostly ACTION w/a smattering of puzzles that are,for the most part, very easy involving how to reach a ledge or open a door,but not like some do as a cheap trick to ‘lengthen’ the game. No,just enough to give your fingers a rest until the next round of baddies or mini bosses appear.There is the occasional floating dead guy apparently able to levitate on death.We all have experienced that dead body that looks like it’s lying on a box but there is no box in sight? Well there is a bit of that but nothing that made me get pissed @ all.I,myself,am 54 yrs old (maybe you want to consider my opinion on those grounds)but I’m the arch-typical Peter Pan who can always find the time to enjoy all little things that make life cool.One of those things is playing video games. As I stated above, you will not believe this game. I played it for 5 hours sraight. Very bloody etc. Pick this up.
I’m a female and I love this game. The only thing I don’t like about Wolverine is he doesn’t jump as high as I would like LOL. But it’s real cool, the graphics are great, and the blood squirting is awesome LOL. So I would recommend it to anyone who likes violence like me :)
