I personally think this is one of the best games of 2006 for the PsP. This game is very fun.
Son was very happy. He’s a big time wrestling fan.
ok
For years i have played all the smackdown vs raw video games and i just had to get this game for my psp so that i could play it on the go.it was a great price and shipped fast.
I love this game for my PSP it is like the normal PS2 game the only complaint I have about the game is it likes to skip in my machine and take forever to load the matches other than that I like it
Alright SDvRaw06 is a must have for any wrestling fan that owns a psp. Dont give it any thought just go buy it its that good. The game has so much depth just like the ps2 version. It has GM mode, Season mode, Mini Games, n a slew of create features like create a wrestler, entrence, title, ppv, stable, and so on. They did a really good job on the roster also. True they forgot alot of the newer superstars like lashley, MNM, The Mexicools, Boogyman, Ken Kennedy, etc. But they made up for it by including great legends and current superstars. Its kinda odd though that they included stars that havent been with the WWE in quite some time like spike dudley, n the Bashems, but im glad they didnt take out the stars that have recently departed for various reasons like hassan, y2j, christian, and eddie (RIP).The psp version does however have a bunch of little things that get on your nerves. For instance load times are absolutly rediculous ranging from 1 to 2 min b4 a match. Also some of the superstars have really messed up entrences. For instance Batista doesnt have his piro n Rob Conway n Silvan both have there new enterence music n annimatons but still have there old La Resistance gimics. The last thing that drives me nuts is CAW, sure CAW is awsome but unlike the ps2 version u are seriously limited in your creation becasue besides the main base layers u can only add 6 more. So like if your guy has a tat, knee and elbow pads,n some kinda facial hair u only have room for 2 more layers n.
Awesome game, brought back a number of great memories as well. Cheers.
Game kicks ass. Sometimes the disc can’t be read, or it skips, or freezes for a few seconds. I would recommend SvR 06 to every Megadeth fan, poker fan, trivia fan, girl watcher, and all wrestling fans.
I bought this game from Consumer Cables on retrolios and at first I had a problem with it spinning they sent a relplacement and it works
My friend owns this game on the PS2 already and when I saw this for the PSP, I wasn’t sure if I should buy it. So I decided, what the heck. I bought it and I realized no difference. The graphics, the gameplay, the sound, you name it. It’s exactly the same, along with all the features. As for the game, it’s easy to get used to and extremely fun (especially on the PSP). You can create your own Wrestler and even your own Entrance. The Storyline is very interesting (the people even talk), but a little short. A new feature that they added is the General Manager Mode. It’s very interesting because you can make your own matches and choose your own Wrestlers. They also have Challenge Mode, where you have tasks to do in 1 match (reverse 10 Strikes or perform 3 Finishers). So they added some interesting things. Now for the cons. The major problem is the loading times. One time I timed one and it took about 3 minutes before the match actually started. And if you wrestle with your created person, it will take even longer. Another problem is that there aren’t enough wrestlers. They have Spike Dudley but where’s Bubba Ray and Devon? Other than that, I’m happy.Overall, I give this game 4 Stars for the cons. But the wrestling fans and PSP owners will definitely need to give this game a try (I prefer the PSP version, if you don’t mind the loading times). And for a handheld system, you can’t complain. If you aren’t sure about this game, then rent it first. Afterwards you’ll most likely want to b.
