I have all of the wrestling games i could find on ps3 this was just one of many I got
Well first off I haven’t own a wrestling game since SVR 2010. I recently got back in wrestling and decided to buy 2K14. It’s not a let down. If you have WWE ’13, i don’t know if you should upgrade as I never played it. But if you’re like me and haven’t own a wrestling a game in awhile, this is a must buy. The minitrons are awesome. Though it needs work. Like if you pick a titantron movie, the walls and banner minitron are tied along with it not the actual minitron itself. So when I put HBK retro to have current HBK minitron, I’m stuck with the 30 years of WM walls. It’s really annoying. The wake up taunts are pretty cool. Just like real life. I also love comeback moves and the OMG! Moments. The gameplay is solid and fluid. The story, 30 years of WM, is pretty darn cool. If you’re an old fan, the nostalgia will be crazy. But if you’re a young fan, it could help you understand some of the greatest moments in wwe history. The defeat the streak is also highly entertaining. 5/5

WWE 2k14 has the best roster ever, taking wrestlers all the way from Mania 1 to the current product. 30 Years of Wrestlemania Mode is really the standout here. Definite pick-up if a wrestling fan.
My boys love this game but as kids are they always want the newer one so I sold these and bought the W2K15 ones.

A huge upgrade from ’13. I don’t want to spend a lot of time on the review, so I’ll cut to the goods.If you love playing offline, the A.I. is more than good enough to hold you over this year. I’ve found myself close to throwing my remote because the A.I. was just completely owning me (I also tweaked my settings, but the default settings will still be a challenge).Every move gets reverse into a different move to cut down on reversing fests. For example, if you get me into a rear waist lock and I reverse your attempted grapple, it’ll either get reverse into a spinning belly to belly suplex, snapmare or something else instead of me just getting behind you or transitioning into another position.It’s such a small feature, but really cool. Each character has their own unique movements. I was playing as Kane one match and he would randomly flick his hair back, adjust his wrist band, gauntlet (Retro Kane), or even mess with his glove. It’s a pretty neat feature and gives each wrestler their own uniqueness. On top of that, the wrestlers wrestle like their real life counterparts (e.g. Undertaker throws a ton of strikes, more technical wrestlers reverse a lot more and almost attack you nonstop).Strikes are faster and harder to reverse (revering this year isn’t as easy as earlier titles anyway). Pretty straight forward. I believe bigger guys swing slower.Tons of new moves, even without the DLC.Universe Mode is upgraded like crazy. You can view rivalries, set them and delete them. It kind.
