SEEMED A LITTLE SLOW AT THE BEGINNING. THEN FOUND OUT I WAS REALLY GETTING INTO IT. THE GRAPHICS ARE FANTASTIC AND THE PLOT MOVES ALONG VERY WELL. WAS REALLY SURPRISED SINCE THIS CAME OUT IN 2010. IT WAS WAY AHEAD OF IT’S TIME. i HAVE GOTTEN THROUGH THE MAIN STORY AND SINCE IT IS THE GAME OF THE YEAR IT HAS ANOTHER GAME ON IT CALLED UNDEAD NIGHTMARE. TALK ABOUT ZOMBIES AND THERE ARE TONS OF THEM. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS TO ANYONE WHO LIKES THE WILD WEST.
Unlike many, I hadn’t played Red Dead Redemption before playing the sequel/prequel, RDR2. Wanting to continue the beautiful story from 2, I knew I needed the first game.I started an retrolio account, and ordered the game. Got it a few days later, in a nice package that protected it.Got what I paid for, and am enjoying playing through it.
FANTASTIC GAME. Cowboy GTA if thats your thing. Great open world play and engagement. Beautiful landscapes and skyscapes.
In lamest terms, its like grand theft call of duty (which stays in 3rd person view). You gets two things shooters like which are a great stories (or two if your’re a fanatic of zombies) plenty of multiplayer modes, and most of all, zombie mode to survive. So trust me, it’s worth it. If you haven’t play this game, I recommend you do. It’s worth the price.

my son absolutely loved the game this Edition comes with all the add-ons and all the extras. Honestly glad we found this game late has extended the life of the PlayStation 3 and our household even with a 4 sitting on the shelf

I bought this game on sale cheap. I feel it was a great buy since it’s funner than I thought it’d be. I don’t play many games, and only play during the winter due to being a grown up with a full time job.So, I like this game in that it’s not so fast pace like some other games out there. You can choose to follow the good life and work around the ranch shooting varmits, learning to ride a horse, roping/herding cattle, and taking care of business with bad fellows. Then after you earn some money from that stuff and hunting game on the range you can buy a pad in town. From there take a job as the bounty hunter you are by yourself or helping the local sheriff. Buying weapons didn’t seem to help any. The side arm and rifle seam to be suitable.I still have a lot to play so I’m sure there’s lots I,m missing, Oh and you can sit and play Texas hold em with the guys to make some money too. In the end you’re trying to get revenge on your old gang’s leader for trying to kill you, leaving you for dead, from the beginning of the game. If you accidently shoot a good guy, a bounty is placed on you and every one comes after you, you can shoot your way out of it and sometimes pay off the fine if your crime wasn’t too bad or continue to be an outlaw, your choice.
Oh my! this is the best game I’ve played in like 20 years. reminds me of nothing I’ve played and everything good I’ve played like Ocarina Zelda. If you’re looking for a western video game meets fun adventure open world horse riding game this is it. I pray Rockstar makes another. this is absolute amazing. 10 stars out of 10. Love it!!!its got a great story but what I like about it the most is that you get to engage in horse-riding through like a Clint Eastwood type of desert setting. There’s a river. the graphics are amazing you actually feel like your riding a horse through the cactus laden desert of like Arizona or something. Don’t waste your money on anything but this ….I mean buy this first. Its absolutely incredible. the music is like a spaghetti western Eastwood flick. and its fun like GTA. so much comedy you just laugh out loud. and the best part, its open world and not on-rails which makes for more fun time from the less serious shooting game players like myself. Get lost in RDR. its better than almost every game on PS3.
I think anything lower than a 9 is a troll review. The game is expansive, memorable, great gameplay, classic Rockstar GTA but in the Wild West. It is one of the 10 best games of last gen, and it was never ported to the PC. We all eagerly await Red Dead 2 and it would blow the doors off this gen!
