The PSP God of War bundle is a great deal. Chains of Olympus is a great addition to the God of War saga. The graphics are well done and the story line is interesting. It takes some getting used to if you’ve only played the PS2 or PS3. This is a perfect gift for any gamer.
I’ve never owned a handheld video game system before, the closest I’ve ever got is my son’s ds lite. After a few of my students demo’ed their psp’s in class, I started to get the itch. Then, when I saw my favorite game, God of War, was coming in a new bundle, I decided that for the only time in my life I would take GW Bush’s advice, and spend my “rebate” on this system. I haven’t had a lot of time to mess with it, although I did play the new GOW game last night, and it’s very cool. Still getting used to the controls, but I have to hand it to sony, I think they have created a pretty universal and cool device that can do lots of things I want it to. My only complaint is no memory card, not even a little one. Yes, I know, I should have bought one when I bought the system, and I will be getting one soon, but it seems like they could have bundled a little 64 mb card or something so you could at least save an early game. Like one reviewer said, get rid of the superbad movie and include a memory card.Oh well, a minor complaint. I’m sure many of the other reviews here will detail all the technical specs. As for me, it’s time to play!
God of War Chains of Olympus is a great game for the PSP. I always wanted a PSP, and the God of War series is one of my favorites, so it was perfect for me to get this combo. I’m just sorry that I wasn’t aware of this combo’s availability until recently. The red Kratos PSP unit looks great, too.
Great product, great movie and great bundle. The sad thing is that it doesn’t come with a memory stick
I heard that Sony was releasing their PSP systems with a theme, game, and movie. The first few they release did not interested me until they released this one. Comes with Superbad, which I had seen before and loved, and I have played a previous God of War game on the PS2 so I was interested in getting this bundle. It has been at least 6 months that I have had it and it is still holding up after regular nearly daily use. I frequently use it to check my e-mail when I a PC in not available. In order to use this feature you need a memory card, but you will need one anyway in order to save games.My only complaints are that the system should either come with internal memory or a memory card. The game’s storyline is also too short, but this is a common complaint of the GoW series. I blame the fact that it is so darn fun!
Even a year later im still playing and enjoying this game. The product came pretty fast and it was in great quality. I was glad because I wasn’t able to find the red psp anywhere but when i did most were in bad condition or were too expensive. I rate this product a 6 out of 5
Good buy. A little warn but works great.
I’m not a big video game freak, but I do enjoy this PSP and God of War. It is a somewhat short game, but I don’t have the patience that I once had for video games. Action packed and easy to play for a bit, save and come back to it later. If you don’t have a PSP, this one seems like a great buy – I don’t think I would have gotten as much gameplay out of Daxter or the Star Wars game that comes in other packages.
loved it! came loaded with games,headphones and videos. my only problem is that the packaging promise superbad it isn’t part of the item. Still a great gift and the items come in great condidtion
i recently brought the red slim god of war psp i can say it was great the god of war game was a great game and superbad the movie was even better and for sony to make a dark red psp was sweet and it fuctions much better than the old Fat 1001 models this is a must own for psp/sony fans.
