Just redeemed this during a sale and got a bit extra RP than I was expecting. It turns this is part of the Snowdown events from Riot but did not expect it to work for an retrolio code.If you can wait, you can always wait and redeem your code during an event and get a bit extra :)

I bought god staff jax and a whole bundle of golden chests with this and still was able to buy 3 more chests. Difinetly got more than $25 worth of content from the hextech chests and the jax skin is awesome!
My "hard to buy for" 30 year old son was beyond excited to receive this gift card. I think that he was shocked that we would buy him such an awesome gift! (Of course, our 27 year old son is the one that gave us the idea! He knew that he would love it, and he did!)
