It is not bad. My wife’s son tried it and he liked it. However, me, 27 almost, did not enjoy it one bit. It is NOT a bad game. It is just a kid’s game. I bought mainly due to the fact that it was 44.99 the whole bundle. I was more interested in the Move, which was more expensive by itself.Again, not bad, just made for kids.
I love how it connects with your pottermore account and you can earn house points for your pottermore house. the graphics are awesome its easy to use and works great super fascinating and awesome way totally super epic!!!!!!!!! The move quality is seamless you don’t have to spend time getting it to read your movements. Great idea for a game as well
I had already read the reviews so I knew that game wasn’t good, maybe for a 3 year old. I bought it for the controller and camera which work great.
Great game bundle! It comes with everything you need. It works great and its FUN. I highly recommend this game for anyone that like harry potter or magic!
Wonderbook uses a really cool technology that puts you into the story and lets you interact with the elements of it, almost feeling them. In this case, Book of Spells was an amazing compliment to learn more about Harry Potter’s world and the game was fun overall, specially for kids under 12 (bought this one for my nephew and niece). As minor letdowns, it feels a little short because chapters are gone in a blink and there are no significant challenges to win all the PSN trophies, which put things a little easy, but due to the different approach this game takes, I think they do not affect the whole experience.I really recommend to buy this game and I’ll be looking forward to more titles that use Wonderbook.
This is fun for the entire family! We love Harry Potter, and my kids have been wanting to do "real magic" for years. Well, this is about as close as you can get!
very fun
Lots of fun, wish they had put out more Wonderbook titles.
My kids love playing this game, from youngest to oldest. Honestly, I like watching them too because the game is fun. Builds coordination as well.
After spending most of this generation gaming on the Wii(pitiful, I know) I finally got a PS3 a few months ago. A few weeks later I ordered this Wonderbook bundle- not because of the game or the Wonderbook peripheral, but because it was a cheaper deal at the time than the other Move bundles. I’m just gonna get this out of the way, I don’t think I’ll ever play with Wonderbook or any of its supported games. I’m a big fan of Sony, but I don’t know what they were thinking with this thing. It’s a “book” full of AR symbols. The Playstation Eye camera sees the symbols and has stuff, dictated by the game, pop out of it… on your TV. Maybe Microsoft will copy this in eight years and make it a massive hit because of lots of advertising, but whatever, I don’t see this going anywhere. On to the Move controller: It’s awesome. A good comparison is that the Wii Remote is VHS and the Move controller is bluray. Calibration is a little trickier, but overall it’s a much smoother, much more accurate experience that can greatly improve many game experiences(like shooters) and has made the PS3 the go-to platform for lightgun gaming at home. The buttons are also a little hard to get used to, but when you do grow accustomed to the controller it fits like a glove very comfortably. I feel the need to heap praise specifically on the Move’s T button, or its trigger: the thing feels absolutely wonderful, easily the most comfortable trigger I’ve ever held- kicks the crap out of the 360 controller’s trigge.
