this game is like a movie you keep thinking is over but you’re so happy when it keeps going when it finally ends you will wish it didn’t
Wow. Where to begin? The story was absolutely fantastic. Graphics were amazing. Gameplay was smooth and open ended. Wolfenstein has undergone several variations over the years. The first being of course the classic Wolfenstein 3D the "grandfather" of first person shooters. In 2001 Activision and ID decided to reboot the series with Return to Castle Wolfenstein which explored some of the occult practices of the Third Reich and it was hailed as well as a great shooter. Then came Wolfenstein in 2009, while the story could have been better, the creators of this game looked to be making an estranged knockoff of Call of Duty. Wolfenstein dealt with the scientific practices of the Nazis in 1944, and I will say that the loose story was one of the redeeming qualities of Wolfenstein in 2009. And now in 2014 we have The New Order. The New Order continues to take place in the same universe as Return to Castle Wolfenstein (seeing as Wolfenstein 3D is considered by many a classic and there are several events in Wolfenstein 3D, Hitler’s death, that contradict the rebooted series so it obviously takes place in an alternate timeline) and the New Order continues BJ Blazkowicz’s fight against the Nazis. However it’s not so simple. BJ takes part in a mission in 1946 to end the war once and for all by killing General Wilhelm "Deathshead" Strasse, a recurring antagonist in the rebooted series he has in fact been featured in every new Wolfenstein game so far. However, with the advan.
I have enjoyed the story and the entire gameplay. Wolfenstein has been an awesome experience. The enemy AI was hard, although I still enjoyed the game. I would recommend this to anyone who isn’t familiar with the series or those who grew up knowing about the series.
Had to buy this after playing the The New Colossus. If you’re like me and never played Wolfenstein until The New Colossus game out, go back and grab The New Order. Just as good of a game, and just as much fun.
I love a good shooter and this one absolutely is that. Great story line and characters with depth, along with tight graphics. It’s worth it to see a different outcome of WWII, it tends to make you think about what you would be willing to do to rage against the evil of the Nazi machine.
I like the graphics, since they tried to keep the graphics as a video game, not like those that you feel you are playing a movie, but a real video game. The gameplay is good, some cheap AI tricks but overall is a good game. I wanted to have it since it was one of my favorite computer games ever and I’ve played them all!! The storyplay is great and it can get quite difficult sometimes.
Was hesitant of purchasing this but I only paid $15.00 during Xmas as a lightning deal. I’m very happy I did, it’s a great game.
I’m really enjoying the game and very good on the delivery time. I look forward to ordering more through you guys very good job thank you.
In my opinion, this is one of the greatest FPS games ever made. However, I’m a pretty casual gamer these days. I like playing games with storylines that allow you to see some progress in 15-30 minute playing intervals. This game has a great story but it also has good graphics, sound, and gameplay. I’m almost finished playing this and plan to get Wolfenstein "The New Blood"
Interesting story line with really cool game play, I’ll be revisiting this one again for sure.
