I’ve started a tradition where I buy my daughter one beautiful classic book every Christmas, and this year I was able to buy this set. The quality of this set is wonderful, the many illustrations are perfect, and I’m very happy with this purchase. I want my daughter to have a library of the classics to pass down to her children, and this set will be heirloom. I highly recommend this to you. It’s a bit pricey, but I believe that teaching a child to love to read will enable them to do anything.

If you like the original Winnie the Pooh series, then these quality books and colored illustrations will be a welcome addition to your library. I love them and so do my kids. We’ve read these every night for a month or so and my 6 year old especially loves them.

A beautiful set of the original Winnie The Pooh series. The illustrations are in color and the paper quality is excellent. Bought them for a Christmas present for my 10 year old grand daughter, she was very happy!
Purchased this for my adult daughter and she was thrilled. This is an anniversary set and she much enjoyed it as a little girl. It is well done and excellent for revisiting our inner child or for fun, enjoyable reading for a youngster today. Well worth the price.
A beautiful edition of these wonderful, timeless books. Nice, thick pages, and the original illustrations in color are beautiful. Hopemy grandson loves them as much as I did as a little one. Milne’s Winnie the Pooh stories harken back to a time when childrens books were written to be enjoyed by both the adult reader and his/her beloved child. There’s a timeless element at work when reading these stories, mainly because they capture the inherent sweetness of a child’s world.The individual books are stored in a slipcase and are good quality. In fact, these are the types of editions you keep on a shelf to help preserve them for future readings. While kids will most likely love the stories, you probably don’t want them to handle these editions until they are a little older.Also note these are not "Disney" editions and should be approached as a somewhat seperate creation. The style is going to be a bit more "British" than North American readers are used to, so you may have to explain a few cultural nuances to kids while you are reading.Simply put, these tales have a treasured place in any library assembled for young readers. Personally, I found this particular set to be the most appealing and look forward to many years of repeated readings with my children.
I bought this to replace my old, used copes my sister has stolen from me. This box set is beautiful. I do not regret this purchase.
Anyone with children should buy these books and read them to your kids. Pooh and his friends and timeless and sweet. I read these to my son around age 4. He LOVES them. We enjoy our reading time together and he really gets into the story. Pooh and Piglet really got him belly laughing a few times, and he even teared up at the end of the last book when Christopher Robin says a bittersweet goodbye. A must have for family libraries. So cute, sweet, and wholesome. The quality of the books were really nice and the cardboard case keeps them neat and protected. I highly recommend.
