I bought this for my 10 year old sons birthday, he has been impatiently awaiting this release. He absolutely LOVES it! The graphics and colors are great, and there are over about 150 characters you can unlock to access their power and abilities. There is out of space combat with Batman and his allies. You can also visit the Hall of Justice, the Bat Cave, and the Justice League Watchtower to access shops, trophy rooms, and the hero and vehicle customizers The story lines are cool and there are so many extra things to do like training modules, challenges, races and mazes. So much fun – he is a very happy kid! Plus, he actually kept this game and plays it over and over again – I myself get miffed when I spend 40 or 50 bucks on a game and he wants to return or exchange it after 4 or 5 days! So this game is a winner for me!
Tons of LEGO fun! And getting to explore the different Lantern worlds is pretty cool, not to mention all the characters!
So I bought this game so my 5 year old and I could have something to do together on rainy days. The Good: The gameĆ¢ā¬ā¢s couch co-op and lack of death penalty are great for younger gamers. The frenetic action keeps it interesting. The sheer number of characters is great and the game design is colorful. The Not so Good: The puzzles are often not very intuitive and require some googling to figure out. Despite the sheer number of characters you are locked into a select few for each story mission. After beating the mission you unlock free play which lets you use any you have unlocked, but you still wind up forced into using certain ones.
My five year old son beat this game with pleasure and relish and then continued to return to it for months afterward. It was easy enough for him to beat without being discouraged, while containing enough extra challenges to keep him engaged. The puzzles that each level posed were perfectly placed for his age group and the story was interesting enough to capture my attention as it played in the background. I wish that more games were able to work as well for the five-six year old age range. We also own Lego Marvel and unfortunately this game, while wonderful, is not as well organized. The complexity of maneuverability from one area to another worked against this game when compared to the open worlds of Lego Batman 2 or Lego Marvel.
Fun game. I like the graphics and mechanics
Fast delivery and great quality.
Actually, I don’t play it… we bought it to have around when our four year old grandson is around to visit. He can handle it and loves it. Friends have been over with their children. The two player mode requires them to work together to solve puzzles and problems to get them through the levels. A lot of dialog and teamwork is evident when the kids are playing it.
Got this set for my son for Christmas when it was on sale, and am so pleased. He is only five but absolutely loves Legos and Lego games. We already own 1 and 2 so 3 was next. The game is just as the others and includes some bonuses in the game that were not in the previous two. Love it!
I may be more hooked than my 6 year old. When he goes to his dad I secretly play it to find the red bricks that he doesn’t have the patience to look for since he’s obsessed with buying all the characters. It’s a super fun game to play when we are too lazy to go outside.
Fun game for my 10 year old!
