Graphics are very good for this game, as well is the sound. This game is good fun especially when playing with 2+ people. You can play with 1 other person on the same system or more if you play online. I played this game by myself, with a friend, and online with 3 others. Playing alone can be tedious and tiresome. If I were to rate this game on solo alone, I would give it 2 stars. However, this game, (like many others), really shine in multiplayer mode.My gripes for this game are really quite minor:1-Each piece of armor does not have a unique graphic.2-There are no new weapons that are obtainable…sure you can add orbs to your weapon to give it a different look…but that’s not quite the same.3-There are only 3 jobs to choose from…even Gauntlet, (from 20 years ago), had 4 choices. If this is preview of the quality of PS3 games to come, we are in for a treat.
I have played untold legends games before, and they are all generally hack and slash, so this was to be expected. Still the graphics were pretty good and the storyline entertaining (played as the female). I also liked how the swords and armor looked different depending on what was equiped and which type. There were a few frustrating moments when the character got stuck on the side of a wall or boulder while fighting, but these were all momentary glitches. I bought this game used for a fraction of the price after reading all the poor reviews, but overall I found it a great game and a decent first try/quick release for the PS3.
I spent some time trying to find champions/return to arms for the PS3, so I will come right to the point: this is it.Coded by the same team, in essentially the same format, this is the answer for champions fans who’ve upgraded to BluRay. If you want the 2 players on a screen co-op from the PS2, you will find it and better graphics and monsters here. If you were addicted before, it will probably follow you here.
If you are a fan of RPG’s and want to try something different from the classic Fantasy games, try this. You may like it. Lot’s of action. Pretty good graphics too.
Fun game with an excellent plot line.
game came in days ahead of time and didn’t have a single scratch on it, 5 stars and haven’t had a problem with the payment for anything. great buy.
I love Videogames. and for that reason, you should buy this game, because you love videogames. It definitely is old school, but there is a strong quest story backdrop, the music is awesome, and you can play it locally,,especially since you cannot play the online element anymore.I Liken this to any Top down dungeon game, from baldurs gate to champions of norrath.Graphics: Good for the time, plenty of things to look at, and likeGameplay: Awesome when it works, frustration if you need to use the camera frequently, and the walls do not go transparent when you walk behind them.Controls: Everything but the Jump is excellent. it works, just not beautifully.Sound: everything you expect, but the music is exceptionalBottom line: Get it for the house, you will not be disappointed.
Okay, for any one who hasnt played a game in the Untold Legends series, allow me to make it easy. The games are along the lines of PS2 Baulders Gate, and Diablo 1 and 2. You garden veriety over head hack n slash game play. There is of course a few of us out there who like this style of game play.If I want an epic, thought provoking story line, BioWare has a billion games to choose from. If I just dont care about the story for a moment and just want to carve my way threw groups of enemies … Untold Legends is as good as it gets. This installment of the series trys to implace a gran conspiracy … which doesnt work out to well, becaouse you can still play the characters that are suppose ‘turn on you’, heck, you can even have them in your party (if your playing co-op) while the cut scene plays of them stabbing you in the back and then running off to join the enemy. In short, dont take it to heart, its not Dragon Age or Elder Scrolls, BUT it is fun, and sometimes thats all a game needs to be.
Fantastic RPG. We’ve played this one for hours. It’s so good that it’s even worth pushing through the harder levels. Lots of characters to choose from to mix up the action. Maps are easy to read and follow. Each level is complex enough to hold your interest, but not so challenging that it makes you want to quit after repeated defeats. Top gamers will likely hate it, but for average gamers who just enjoy the action, this one works.
Nonstop action and easy puzzles.A great game if you want a fantasy action game.
