Just like Halo is a reason to own an XBox, Uncharted 2 is a reason to own a Playstation. First of all the voice acting is top notch with Claudia Black as Chloe being the best of the bunch. The graphics are very well done. The story is also superb. The game mainly consist of exploring and shooting. You don’t need more! Playing this game is like being in an actual movie. My only grip is the amount of treasure to be found. Way too much treasure to be found. Other than that, this game is a must have. Buy it!
First off i only play fps but then i herd everyone raving about this game and decided to investigate. My findings where that third person shooters can be immensely fun and intuitive just like a fps. As we all know all games are not created equal, some fizzle out half way through the campaign while others lag and have terrible online game play. Uncharted will never disappoint or let up, its balls to the wall the entire game.
Probably better than the first. I have gone through this at each level.
UNCHARTED 2: Among Thieves Game of the Year Edition. The DLC content codes shipped with the game expired 9/5/2012. The only reason I purchased this particular version was to get the DLC.This is one of my first PS3 purchases for the first PS3 bought for the kids.Very disappointed in my VIP Group Corporation purchase. Really wish I had seen the customer review who already had this issue prior to ordering the game. Buyer beware! Now I am hoping that the game which arrived on disk is playable and I don’t have the problems I am now seeing and reading about on retrolio which others are having once loaded on the PS3.***UPDATE BELOW*********2013-APRIL-22nd****************>>>After receiving a comment from another buyer for this same title who was able to activate expired listed codes in his game I tried again last week and the expiration is clearly September 5th 2012 but entering the codes which came with the game NOW DO WORK. I hope this helps someone else who purchased this title if the codes did not originally work. The content appears now, is downloadable and useable.
game works great, loads ok, no problems
There’s a reason this game has such great reviews. I first heard of Uncharted 2 about 3 years ago and I had my wife play the demo. We liked it but didn’t end up buying the game. July 2016 comes around and i’m looking to buy a game to play and entertain me. I see Uncharted 2 and read all the wonderful reviews. Mannnnnn, this game is really the bees knees. I am not really into games like this but I have bought 3 and 1 now because of how good this game is. It is hard to believe that this came out in 2009(I think). So if you haven’t played this game yet, I would highly recommend it. I did not play the games in order though. I played U2 first and I am halfway thru U3. I will be playing part 1 next because my wife told me I have to play it now.
Between Uncharted 1 – 3, this is definitely the best of the three. This really ups the ante from the first game, and the story mode is phenomenal. On the co-op mode, this game has a feature I miss in Uncharted 3 : selecting a single mode in arena challenges. For example, if you select survival mode, you will play ten rounds of survival, instead of switching between siege, survival, treasure… which I find annoying in Uncharted 3.Also, in co-op, everyone has their own set of lives. So, it’s ten lives per person, instead of 10 team lives, which has some ups and downs. The upside being your ability to complete a game if your teammates aren’t as capable.Between the story and co-op differences, this is the best of the PS3 versions of Drake
For all the hype, I found Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune to be a generic and simple Tomb Raider clone with very childish platforming, hundreds of baddies everywhere in an a desolate jungle (lol) and a story taking place entirely on one island. Still, the star of that game was the dialogs, voice acting, story and graphics (for the time). It felt like a movie more than gaming.Uncharted 2 happily does away with most of those annoyances for a vastly improved game. The graphics are good, loading times are non-existent and gameplay is improved. There are stealth sequences as well and you can approach many situations stealthily first (although you cannot complete the levels fully stealthed a la Hitman).Voice acting is again superb. There’s Claudia Black lending her excellent, unmistakable voice for Chloe and the dude who does Nathan Drake’s voice is perfect in voice, delivery and choice of words. The locales shift now and are more exotic. The story involves lots of double crossing and keeps you engrossed. The action is a little toned down this time around but one good addition is the make shift grenades which happen when you throw gas tanks around and blow them up.Overall, great game. If you like Tomb raider, you will like this game.Final rating: 8.5/10
So exited trama. The history is so interesting. Looks like a movie in your hands.
This game is like a movie. Great. The voice of Nathan Drake plays him very well. I’m on my second day of playing. Around 4 hours each day and I’m about 60 percent through it so far. Haven’t tried the multiplayer function yet, but looking forward to it!
