Compete seriously or play casually!Ultra Street Fighter 4 is still the top played game at EVO. I personally like having a disk so I can play with friends around town if they don’t have a copy. But if you already own any of the Street Fighter 4’s, you can simply download the upgrade for about $15.Just a heads up… EVO and nearly all USF4 tournaments across America play ONLY on Xbox 360. So you may want to consider buying a copy an Xbox 360 version instead of PS3 version if you want to play physically at tournaments. Also, you’ll get more online players on 360 than PS3.If you are thinking about getting the full Street Fighter experience, grab a fight stick (arcade style joystick for your console). Remember, most USB fight sticks are not cross-compatible between Xbox 360 and PS3 straight out of the box. You’ll have to mod your stick using aftermarket PCBs that support multiple consoles/platforms. One popular PCB is the PS360+, which allows you to mod your stick a little easier than the others and offers compatibility with a ton of systems. I mention this because most tournaments will only have 360s… don’t be that guy stuck walking around with PS3 stick. Or if you just want to keep things simple, then just buy an Xbox 360 version and a fight stick for the 360 — done.
One of the best Street Fighters games I’ve played in many years. The game is notable for its highly updated graphics with new characters, new moves, and beautiful fighting stages. It is a fighting game I would recommend to anyone.
