Fun to play
Back in the day this was my favorite tombraider game mainly because of that area 51 level.
I bought this for a relative, and I’ll say that it was in a very fine state, almost like a new copy of the game. And the game worked as well, the disc wasn’t scratched. It was well worth my money.

Item was detailed as new but was obviously used there was no PlayStation seal. I know the difference between a Factory sealed PlayStation 1 title and one that’s been resealed. Shipping was fast so that’s good.
Classic great game. Very fun.
Ok, alot of people hate this game – but i cant complain with it.Although some of the levels are annoying (i hate the 2nd level of india with a passion) at least it held mostly to the name of Tomb raider (the 2nd, and 4th onwards) should be named “City Raider” the graphics are kinda yellowish. the lighting can be harsh. but its a lengthy game – took me almost 6months to beat (partially cause i jumped triliogy installments)but its an ok game. its better than the 2nd, and way better than all the others afterwards – but doesnt messure up to the original.
The third in the hugely enjoyable instalments of Lara Croft’s adventures, cyber-babe Lara continues to collect artifacts whilst casually eradicating the world’s rare animals (including the last T-rex).This time Lara begins her adventures in a temple of Kali in India, after a piece of an ancient meteorite with strange powers. The storyline is weaker than in the first two movies owing to the new feature of a non-linear plotline. After India, Lara can choose to explore the south sea islands, London, or Area -51 before finally venturing to Antarctica.Whilst the storyline is flimsy the new weaponry is the best to appear in the games. Along with the usual weapons Lara now can have a Desert Eagle pistol with great stopping power or the Heckler and Koch MP5 favoured by special forces. Her new skills this time round include crawling and a very useful sprint function that means you don’t have to bounce around like a fool to cover ground quickly. The graphics are sumptuous, the animated Kali statues look fantastic. New ways to die include immersion in cold water and shoals of vicious piranha that can kill in seconds.New vehicles include the quad bike and a very difficult to control (but still fun) kayak. The essential skill to master this time is to be able to crouch whilst letting Lara happily blast away with her handguns. Useful for taking out cobras and unwary guards. The levels are satisfyingly huge so you’ll be spending a lot of time finishing this game and for the hard-core purist.
I missed this game
This game is really odd in terms of difficulty. The reviews that say this game is too exacting definitely aren’t wrong. Early on in the game, the obstacles are way too difficult and at times completely random. I forget the level but I remember walking and a random boulder fell on my head and I died. Zero warning signs that would happen. Made me want to throw my controller across the room. How was I supposed to know not to walk there? I couldn’t beat the first few levels without constantly watching a walkthrough. Eventually I became too frustrated and put the game down for a year.I say this game is odd though because unlike any game I’ve played before, it gets easier. I started playing again and after London, I’ve been able to beat levels with very little help from walkthroughs. The game is once again extremely enjoyable the same way TR1 and TR2 were. I’ve been sick the past 3 days and have just been sitting on the couch playing this nonstop. It’s been great. The first few levels were so difficult that I ended up using a code for all weapons and save crystals. After London, I chose to play Nevada. In Nevada you end up losing all your weapons and health. I’ve been doing the second half of the game without using the code. For me, using codes for the first half of the game was necessary and wasn’t for the second half.I imagine the poor reviews of this game were from people who gave up after it being too frustrating. I can’t say I blame them at all because the first few levels real.
