This is a great lightgun game and it’s better than project Titan. If you’ve got a big TV then you’re are lucky and you can fully exsperince this game. In some arcades the light guns are out of acuracy but the guncon is perfect on your playstation and there’s added features that the arcade version didn’t have.Buy this along with DIE HARD
THIS GAME IS THE FIRST ATTEMPT BY A VIDEO GAME DEVELOPING COMPANY TO MAKE SOMETHING THAT PLAYS LIKE A JOHN WOO FILM! Based on the 1995 arcade hit, this home version comes packaged with the Namco Guncon the most accurate arcade lightgun around. This game features the entire arcade, complete with the story mode & time attack. Not only that but Time Crisis also features a new special mode with a new original scenario exclusive to the playstation home version. The new scenario has new environments, enemies, bosses, music, and multiple endings. The three modes arcade, special, and time attack each have two levels of difficulty and features codes. This game is addictive and shooting is fun. The enemy A.I. is decent as bad guys run, jump, dive, slide, and roll as they shoot at you and try their hardest to put a end to your life. The bosses are even more spectatular and are combat specialists. Wild Dog who is the final boss is sculpted in the image of actor Chow Yun-Fat and fights you with Duel handguns. There is something I have to state about this battle, in all my years as a gamer I never experienced anything like it. 250+ games played and I must say this is the best last battle & boss fight in video game history. It is very memorable and might not be topped for years to come. Your fighting Wild Dog and they’re playing this music in the background that sounds like something straight out of a Jerry Bruckheimer movie, and you think and say to yourself “Man this is a [great] game.” T.
TIME CRISIS IS THE BEST GAME. I PLAYED THIS GAME IN THE ARCADE AND IT WAS THE BEST. SO WHEN IT CAME OUT FOR PLAYSTATION I GOT IT RIGHT AWAY. IT ISNT THAT GORY BUT IT HAS A LOT OF ACTION.SO IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A GREAT GAME THAT YOUR PARENTS WOULDNT MIND,IT WOULD BE THIS ONE.
its a hard game, but darn fun. i find myself playing it for hours on end………reminds me of the good days of Duck Hunt back on the o’ nintendo. guns just make everything better, like if i did’t have to gun to that game i would never ever play it. buy it everybody!
It’s currently 2020 as of the time of this review and for a game that was released in 1997 for the PS1 (1995 in Arcades), it still holds up well in my opinion! Yes – the graphics are archaic by today’s standards, the voice acting is cheesy as all heck, and you will need to use/find an old CRT TV in order for the GunCon to work properly. I primarily bought this to add to my retro collection and I actually still find this game to be pretty intense, even after all these years. This was one of my favorite games whenever I went to the arcade and I’m glad I took the chance and purchased it via retrolio; it was actually cheaper than most other places online, but definitely do your research.
