I now have almost all the LEGO games for XBOX 360. They are FUN TO PLAY, with LOTS of things to do and track down in the game play. I like the way they break the games up into story and freeplay runs. They also do a good job of sticking to the basic story lines of the various games they have put out so far. Yes, I will buy new LEGO XBOX 360 games when the come out.
My daughter’s favorite games for her Xbox 360 are the Lego games, and the Arcade games. Her #1 choice is Lego. This game came in yesterday and she loves it. Another challenging, fun-filled game for hours of enjoyment. She likes to try them out, then I’ll play with her. Either way, this adventure entertains. Well worth the price. I just couldn’t wait until Christmas, wanted to see the excitement as soon as it was delivered. Another feature I love is that delivery was super fast, and packaged properly to prevent damage. Also, since the prices are reasonable, along with safe and prompt delivery, I’ll be ordering several more Xbox games from retrolio. We are happy customers!
My son loves the Lego XBox games and this one is no exception.

The LEGO VG formula was starting to get stale, so with the further adventures of Indy and co we are introduced to some new game ideas. Most of which work well, the instant split screen is way past due and makes co-op fun again, the hubs are vast and fun to explore with tons of hidden levels and goodies, and most importantly if you want to play with bricks and build your own levels you can. Granted the builder while intuitive is also kind of complex for the kiddies so be prepared to help out if you are a parental gamer with this aspect. The puzzles do feel a little less frustrating than other LEGO games which for many might be a good thing but once you have a feel for the new layout and gameplay veterans might find it simply to easy to breeze through this game. The humor is here again but it doesn’t feel as fresh either probably because we have circled this block already a few times over. My son and I have had a great time playing this. He thinks the vehicles are hard to control but otherwise really likes exploring which this game does offer more of overall than past titles. We both like the art direction and unlockable retail looking lego boxes as well as the terrific music that is featured throughout. The creator is a little confusing with not enough tutorials but I am very happy they decided to put it in as it will extend the purchase value alot for some players. Far from a disappointment and quite promising in most respects if this is where the Lego games are head.
I got this game because my 4 year old son really enjoyed the first Lego Indiana Jones. The second one shows significant improvements over the first one as far as what you can do in the game. The changes are so significant, you actually need to read the manual and tell your kids how to use them. And obviously it will help if you watch the movie prior playing the game.I gave this game 4 stars because the game crashes in some part of the level. I hope the developer fix this problem soon. Other than that, the game is fun although learning curve is very steep.
This game was an improvement over the last game – and the main reason is that I don’t have to replay the same level 4 or 5 times to find all Ten treasuers and Red Bricks. These levels are a bit shorter, and you only need to play them once (mostly). Each story mode level has a second version of itself in which you find the single treasure chest.The other main change is that there are six main sections, and once in a section you are placed on a general map. That map is fun to explore, and it is where you discover the entrances to the Story and Bonus levels.Freezes – This game has started to lockup on occassion, which made my son very upset and I can’t blame him. It happens about once every 3 or 4 times the game is played.Vehicles – These are frustrating… it took me a long time to figure out that if you press B, the vehicles can go in reverse. Even with that, controlling them are very hard and you constantly get stuck or fall off a cliff.Overall this game is worth it. Especially at the price it is now (below $20). There is plenty of value in this game and if you’re looking for a game both you and your kid can play, this is it.
I’ve bought all the Lego games – my son loves them and I play with him! (I’m addicted to collecting the legos pieces). We’re looking forward to the Harry Potter game! This games is fun – a little harder to figure out than the others but still fun.
