i have being a big fan of the tekken series since early 2000’s, and this tekken is by far the best i have ever played, better graphics, less difficult control moves. its really worth trying it if you are a takken fan.
To date I have played every Tekken game and in my opinion the biggest leap for the series both in terms of presentation and gameplay was from ps1 to ps2. Ps2 to ps3? Not so much. I mean, it’s always been a solid fighter, and with each iteration came new fighters, a few new modes here and there, and graphical improvements, but nothing groundbreaking. After downloading Dark Resurrection on PS3, the remake of the same PSP title, I was eagerly anticipating Tekken 6, but when I popped the disc in, I felt slight disappointment. While the whole package was serviceable, it wasn’t what I expected. Graphically, it seemed light they got away with using the lowest poly-count they could, while throwing on tons of bloom lighting and fancy textures as cover-up. Load times are horrble between fights and there’s no excuse for that in a fighting game! The characters still animate stifly in real-time cut scenes and the voice acting is only passable. Convoluted as the story of Tekken has become, I wish they gave more service to the individual characters. As a replacement for a real story mode they include a Campaign mode a la streets of rage, which grew on me after a few stages but its nothing more thana means to earn money for items. All in all, the best feature is the giant roster. Each character is different enough from the next to warrant a go and the selection puts other fighters to shame. The new characters are also awesome to play as. I’d recommend Tekken 6 to any fighting game enthusiast.
This is the best Tekken game money can buy, why do You ask? Because of the version of “Tekken Force” it contains… everything else about the game is typically Tekken good, but it’s the best if the games which has a Tekken Force mode. Don’t believe Me? Go watch the youtube gameplay videos.
great product for the consumer, and is beatufull gif for the alla family, thanks, thanks, thanks, thanks, thanks, thanks, bye
Thank you
Great
I bought this game for a friend, and she loves it, she is a fan of fighting games like this, where she can fight easy without any type of complicated combos.
Overall great game. IMO the best n the genre. However, LAG LAG LAG online. How about some dedicated servers NAMCO? arrgghh I wish I can rent a Tekken 6 dedicated server. Minus 1 star for lack of dedicated servers. It could have been so great if online was done right.
Tekken has never been the best fighter out there. Admit it, Tekken is a ‘Dial-A-Combo’ amatuer friendly fighter than your 6 year old nephew can beat you at. So why do I give it 4 stars? I said it’s not the ‘best’ fighter…never said it wasn’t the most fun.I’ve been an abid fan of the Tekken series since I first picked up Tekken 3 when it originally came out for the PS1. Tekken’s variety of outrageous characters with intense personalities has always set it apart from the competition. And, even though there are better fighters for you ‘hardcore’ saps out there don’t bash Tekken just because you can’t ‘Hadoken’ your way to victory. Yes, like I said, you may have been playing Tekken for a decade like I have but when your nephew picks Eddy Gordo and button smashes his way to victory you just have to laugh and live with it because Tekken is undeniably fun.Tekken 6 lives up the high standards I hold for the franchise with a challenging Arcade mode and Survival mode, and an absolutely ADDICTING Ghost mode. The low point of this one is, unfortunately, the Story Campaign mode where, again unfortunately, your fighter is broken due to a restriction on moves and a lack of overall challenge with a mediocre ‘Arena’ (which is the closest you come to the take a fighter and see his story you’ll be familar with). Regardless of it’s flaws, it’s still fun to earn money with your favorite fighter in Story Campaign and customize them however you like.Overall I give Tekken 6 a 4/5…if you’.
Ive always loved playing the tekken games since i was young. Honestly its such an easy pick up and play fighting game, and yet it also gives you the opportunity to master it at high levels. so anyways the gameplay is smoother than ever, animations are great. graphics are great and the customization for characters is a plus. i expected more customization options but there is still a good amount of stuff there. the new campaign mode is different, its like tekken force from tekken 4 but i usually end up just playing ghost battles or online. speaking of which, the online isnt that bad. it searches for ooponents with good connectivity with you so you wont end up disconnecting in a fight. theres little to no lag which is great. and theres still a good amount of people playing this game online, i bought tekken 6 in january of 2011 and so far ive been able to find multiple matches with multiple people. so overall, if your looking for a fighting game, you cant go wrong with tekken 6. its affordable, fun, and WELLL WORTH THE PRICE.
