Tekken 3 is the best Tekken there is. It’s pretty gory but if you like fighting it’s the game for you. It’s suitable for ages 9 & up.
Sorry Tekken fans, good graphics, cool characters, but lacking personality. Yes, I know it’s stupid to take off one star for personalities, but hey, I paid for this game!!! If you liked Tekken 2 without the personalities too, I recommend buying this with Tekken 2.
I have been playing Tekken 3 for a long, long time, and it’s just as fun now as it was when I first bought it. It’s a wonderful game to play alone, and even better when played with a friend. It’s my favorite fighting game on the PlayStation, or on any console of its generation, for that matter.-PRESENTATION: Tekken 3’s menus and loading screens are very similar to those of their arcade counterpart, and, although not particularly amazing graphically, somehow manage to look very stylish. They’re a perect example of grace through simplicity.-GRAPHICS: Wow. I do not think that it is possible for the Playstation to generate graphics better than these. The character models are detailed and very well-constructed, and the beautiful textures that cover them smooth them out and make the fighters much more realistic-looking. Unlike in Tekken 2, you seldom see the facets of the character models when they move. The backgrounds are much more detailed than those of the last game, and have been almost seamlessly blended with the floors of the game’s many arenas. Namco seems to have pushed the system beyond what it was once believed to be capable of, and the only way for the game to be improved upon would be to move it up to a more powerful console (i.e. Tekken Tag Tournament and Tekken 4 on the Playstation 2). Beautiful. And of course, the CG cutscenes have to be seen to be believed.-SOUND: This game has the best sound effects of any fighting game on the system, methinks. The punches and kic.
I give this 5 stars (wish I could give 10). The PS1 game I ordered arrived surprisingly fast and brand freakin new. It seemed as if I was buying it back in 1998 all over again.

When I once had played tekken3 itgone faster then it was.And when Iused the character alot of them were not on the chart.Using Ninathrough the arcade was like amatch to me!Ialso used Hwoarang,Eddy,Anna,Jin,Gon,and HHH.Tekken3 is the fastest game in thehistory.
