No analog controlls. No File Collection. WHAT? It was a let down. I totally forgot about this lacking since I haven’t played it in years. The cutscene graphics are ace,though and the experience is a good break from creatures and zombies. Regina is so brave and interesting. Yes,I recommend it.
dino crisis is a great horror game and its alot like resident evilstory 10/10the story is good but not as good as reident evil i dont like spoiling the story so you will have to buy the game and see it for your selfgameplay 10/10the gameplay is great not as scary as resident evil but still pretty damm scary the game engine is just like reident evil the game is basicly resident evil with dinasoursgraphics 10/10for a ps1 game the graphics are amazing everything is so detailed and real looking great graphicssound 10/10great sound and voice actingcontrolls 8/10the controlls are hard at first but once you get the hang of them its a breezeoverall a great game what are you waiting for go and buy it already
I have looked everywhere for this game. I was so glad when I finally found it. This was my favorite game as a kid.
Dino Crisis was released way back in 1999 on the playstation. It was directed by the same director of the original Resident Evil. (and producer of the next 2)It came out at the peak of survival horror popularity but was more than just a clone of Resident Evil. Obviously if you’re searching for this game 10 years later you must know something about it and the genre. This is probably a must buy if you like these types of games. I would say get Resident Evil 1,2,3 and Silent Hill first, however.Dino Crisis featured full 3D background, not prerendered ones like Resident Evil. It was much more advanced. You have a limited inventory but have different types of healing items and ammunition for each gun.And of course no zombies here…oh no, Dinos! Much faster than those old creepy zombies. The game environments were excellent and the music really added to the atmosphere. It’s definitely in the “style” of a late 90s Resident Evil game, which is a good thing.Some came with a Resident Evil 3 Demo, which was cool, and Resident Evil 3 of course came with a Dino Crisis Demo. Pick this one up!

It feels pretty Janky compared to Resident Evil, but it’s still a solid classic Capcom survival horror game. It is very puzzle heavy however.
RARELY DOES A GAME COME ALONG THAT HAS IT ALL! LOTS OF ACTION, COOL DINOSAURS TO ANNIHILATE, NOT TOO HARD PUZZLES , AND LOTS OF FUN PLAYING IN GENERAL..AND A VERY GOOD PLAYSTATION TITLE TO BOOT!!I LOVED PLAYING THIS GAME A LOT , AND EQUALLY LOVED ” DINO CRISIS 2 ” AS WELL! LET’S HOPE THEY PUT OUT ANOTHER TITLE FOR PS 2 IN THE FUTURE .AND THAT IS AS GOOD IN ACTION AS THIS ONE , AND LOTS OF COOL DINOS LIKE THE SECOND ONE.THAT WAS THE ONLY FLAW WITH THIS GAME , NOT A GREAT AMOUNT OF DINOSAURS TO WIPE OUT .BUT THE ONES THEY HAD WERE COOL TO FIGHT .. I first played Dino Crisis when it was first released back in about 1999 if my memory serves right and if it doesn’t, well sucks to be me because that just means I’m getting old faster then I thought. The game was fun and being 9 or 10 at the time it scared the living crap right out of me, especially when the flying dino minced me into a fine snortable powder with the fan or when the T-Rex just wouldn’t die. A very memorable and fun game, a must pick up if you’re a Capcom fan like me.
Dino Crisis is a game for people that like to be scared. Frightening sequences like a T-rex busting into a room in a second story building to eat you in one bite to a velociraptor jumping down from the ceiling of an elevator onto you are a small sample of the scares you will face. The storyline is interesting and unique, but young people will probably not understand it fully. You are Regina, a very attractive redhead with a wardrobe that will make you say yum! This is overall a masterpiece and I really enjoy it.
