Omg they had a blast with this. Runs great and fast. Was nicely surprised at how well it worked and the speed.
If I could give this car a 20 star rating for durability I would. When I was a kid these things seemed to instantly break when you crashed them. This can take a beating. Our first one only broke because it was gifted to my son when he was 1 or 2 and he straight up ripped it apart with his hands several times before it actually stopped working. He just earned another one and it’s already taking a beating and still going. He’s driving over ramps, crashing it into walls, and dropping it constantly. I would be shocked if this thing doesn’t last for at least a year. The retrolio batteries seem good for about two hours of constantly driving at least.The hover feature is cool, but only works well on hard surfaces. My son is currently driving it around on its side. The handling is impressive. It doesn’t get stuck, has 360 degree turning from a stop, and drives like an all terrain vehicle. As a parent, not getting asked every 5 seconds to ‘fix it’ and get it unstuck is awesome. We loved this car the first time and that’s why we bought it again!
The only thing that ISN’T awesome about this, is the batteries. You go through a lot of batteries. I advise rechargeable. Strongly.But this is virtually indestructible. My three year old plays with it and LOVES it. Still in perfect condition. Mario is awesome. Wish they’d make other characters.
got this as a gift for my Nephew who is really into retro game characters. He loves it. he’s put this thing through the wringer and it’s still going strong.
I’m almost 56 years old and I love this toy. I’m might buy another one so my a friend and I can race! Five stars definitely on this one. But don’t raise the price, please.Thank you retrolio.com
My son loved it, it’s really fast for such a small car, only thing to look out for is that when we have Alexa playing the control loses signal with the car kinda weird but it does mention it in the book
We ordered this for our son for Christmas. He loves it and it works well. After all the mixed reviews, we debated but so far so good. It is much bigger than we expected so we were pleasantly surprised and seems to work good.
Nice RC car. Works well and my son loves it. It looks just like the car in Mario cart Nintendo switch game. The hover feature is really just sideways movement when wheels are folded up and spin to cause a sideways type slide, but it is fun to watch. This car can do wheelies and other fun movements. Im not sure the price was that great but I loved just having it sent to my house and not fighting crowds at the retail stores so that was worth it to me.
Son love it, super cool remote control car
