Really really love this quick game. Once you understand that you’re just looking for cards that will work together, the race is on to get those cards out and working for you and get the points before your opponent(s) can. Really fun.
Must easier than race for the galaxy but with a similar feel. My kids (18, 16 & 12) have really enjoyed playing.
This is a shorter, distilled version of Race for the Galaxy. Race is one of my all-time top 3 games, but this version is addictive. I can’t stop playing it. Once you get to know how it works, you can finish a game in 15 minutes.
Easy to learn. Fast to play. Not a lot of depth but what do you expect from a game you can finish in 15 min. What I like most is that just like in RFTG you can stumble on a strategy and just blow everyone away. Or your opponent does, there is a lot of randomness but if you get bad cards and have a bad game, it’s not so bad, it’s over in under 15 min and maybe you’ll have better luck next time.
If you are a fan of the race or roll for Galaxy then you’ll like this. It is a good cross off the two
I love this game. Can turn the game on its head in just one move and the gameplay has a very different and unique concept to it.
Everyone loves it. So much fun and about 20min.
Lovely little game. Very easy to pick up, and plays very quickly (<20mins after one or two learning games). Great sense of escalation and tension as the game comes to a close. In particular, this is a highly recommended purchase for people who enjoy Race for the Galaxy but find it difficult to teach all of the iconography; this game will expose people to many of the symbols and concepts of RftG, while being a distinct and enjoyable game unto itself.
