This game was exactly what i remember, thank you for selling this cheap, the nostalgia levels were to high, literally felt 9 again.
Personally a fan of officially endorsed Star Wars games, I found Jedi Power Battles (JPB) to be the most satisfying and playable, especially for long-term enjoyment. The game closely follows the plot and action of Episode I, including 5 playable characters (Obi-Wan Kenobi, Qui-Gon Jinn, Mace Windu, Adi Gallia and Plo Koon) from the film as well as cameo apearances from Jar-Jar Binks and Anakin Skywalker, let alone the two duels with Darth Maul. A must for any Star Wars fan, JPB offers hours of lightsaber action against enemies from the Star Wars world. The further you progress your chosen character in the game, the more abilities and combo moves you pick up. Each character has their own distinct style, force abilities and strengths, resulting in a game that is almost endlessly playable. Yet even with the game ‘completed’, there are opportunities to unlock secret characters and secret games which provide further intrigue and fun. Playable in both single and two player mode, JPB offers futher options of gameplay, the two player mode in this game being one of (if not the) best and most playable on the market.Visually stunning, involving, and true to plot and character of Episode I, I found Jedi Power Battles far more playable than any of the Jedi Knight PC series, simply because of the 3rd person format and playablility of the characters: for any “Star Wars Saddos” who notice the combat manoevres in the film, the trademark moves of Darth Maul, Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan are.
ok this game is unbelievably good i cant wait until the second one (of there is one) comes out hopefully for ps2. This game is very unique i mean u can block lasers and reflect them back at guys like in the movies!!! the techniques u can u is great its even great to play with a friend side by side 2 jedi head to head trying to beat the prime evil……ITS GREAT!!!

Any Padawan who loves light-sabre swinging will love this title.It has many many special moves and combinations that evolve as you make your way through several cool scenarios mastering the ways of the Force. Try bouncing blasters….it’s the coolest!
I gave it to my brothers as a Christmas present and they enjoyed it.
I got this for my brother’s birthday because he’s one of the biggest Star Wars nerds in the galaxy! Lol Come to find out, it worked on our PS2 for a couple minutes before the game shut down! Keep in mind this is a PS1 game and I was hoping my PS2 would run it well but unfortunately….that was not the case! 5 Stars for being an amazing game though!
By far, this has been the best Star Wars adaptation to a video game yet (With Masters of Tera-Kasai a close second). Each character has great lightsaber attacks and pretty cool force powers as well. The only way this game could get any cooler is if they make a sequel to it with the original Star Wars characters. The bottom line: any game that lets you unlock and then play as Darth Maul is freakin’ awesome!
Use to play this game all the time as a kid . brings back old memories and now im playing it on my ps3!!!!
