I normally do not buy used games do to the trouble of returning if they don’t work. this game had one minor scratch and looks new.
Let me tell you young skywalkers, this game is a great edition to your first-person shooter collection. Not only is it a great first-person shooter, it’s a great Star Wars game. This game reminds me of, oh, Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire for N64. Yep, it’s that good. In the introduction levels, we are forced only to eliminate our enemy(Stormtroopers)with laser blasters and batons, after that you can harness the Jedi weapon, the lightsaber. The lightsaber effects are great for the x-box, they react to all action taken. The story line is classic, a mercenary(Kyle Katarn)is tricked into thinking his girlfriend/parnter(Jan Ors)is dead and turns to the Vally of the Jedi to use the force to stop a villian named Desann. Luke Skywalker makes an impact in the game and Lando is a big help. The game will take you back to the classic trilogy thinking all this new Star Wars stuff is a computerized joke. Enjoy this rare, great game.
An oldie, but a good game, not backward compatible with the Xbox One S,plays fine on the original Xbox
Does not work on 360Great game though
def a must have for all star wars fans, picks up right where academy left off, smoother gameplay as well.
I own the PC version and if this is anything like it, it’s FUN. If your a FPS or SW fan purchase this game. The story line is alright, not related to original SW though. Replay value is ok not great. I would recommend having Xbox live if its compatible, I think it is. That way you can play online which is a hoot. This game ought to be #1 for online play until Halo 2 comes out.
why oh why do people write reviews for games that haven’t been released? first off i suppose i should let everyone know that any reviews written about this game before nov. 21 2002 should be ignored for the most part. one example of where this is true, the reviewer “lik way chan” said that the xbox version would have no dismemberment, i assure you it does. so don’t base a review of a game on something you heard. anyway on with the review. this is indeed one of the best star wars games i’ve played. the controlling is different from Obi Wan (which i look at now and wonder…why?) the saber control is different too, but i liked the saber control in obi wan. the force powers are great (push pull jump speed grip lightning and heal) though its a pain to have to cycle through them. graphics are amazing, the storyline is great. though it seems you wait too long before you get your saber and force powers, so stick with it! the multiplayer is great too, lots of other force powers offered, ie force drain, force seeing and force rage. so apart from a few minor flaws, this game is flat out awesome, even if your not a star wars fan, this is still a great game.
Delivered early and excellent condition, very happy and now time to get back into an old favorite. Definitely made my day.
if anyone should see this in a store iand wonder if they should get it or not my advice is:GET IT!!!! this is the best game since Dues Ex (which by the way the second dues ex is coming out soon) i play it for such a long time until im kicked off the xbox… sure the controls are a bit hard at 1st but then it feels like youre in the game the only problem is probably that you dont start with the light saber and when you do get it and all your force powers you have to go through all these tests and o yeh u should save very often it is really hard game (hope you have enough room on your xbox harddrive!!!) the force powers are: push, pull, speed, jump/mindtrick,heal(which is a bit cheap but for one level you have to use it other wise it is impossible), choke and lightning and have in mind you will upgrade or get a new power after every level. my favorite force power is probably choke especially when you get up to the part with all the bad Jedi dudes and you just choke them and throw your lightsaber at them while they are choking themselves and for heavily armed storm troopers i suggest force pull to get the gun out of their hands and then just push them or do it the old/new way; slash him with the old lil light saber!i am absoluely serious, i have played over five hundred games (much much much more)and this is my second to favorite of all of those games i cant wait for nites of the old republic… these kind of games are the best puzzle action and adventure nothing beats these gam.
This is a very cool game Kyle Katarn is a famous person who defeated the dark lord Jarik. Kyle quits the jedi order after this. He comes back too a jedi after Dasann a failed jedi "kills" Jan.
