Don’t let the title fool you, this is a perfect game for someone 8-14. Even mom and dad can enjoy this one. The 5 stars would be 2-3 if for anoyone over the age of 13, but my son loves it.
I am a mom and my 10-year-old son and I like to play games on the xbox 360 together sometimes. Because I don’t allow him to play online, we have to find games that have a couch co-op that we can play side-by-side together. When we bought this game, that’s what we thought we were getting and we were so excited to be able to find something outside of the LEGO franchise. Unfortunately, that’s not exactly accurate.The overall game is very cute and my son really enjoys playing it. The co-op part, however, leaves something to be desired. It does not allow you to play co-op throughout the whole game, but rather requires that you play as a single player and gives you the option of co-op for certain little mini-objectives. As this is not what we were looking for, and did not feel the game packaging accurately describes the feature, I cannot give the game a full five stars.If you’re looking for a cute, single-player game that is somewhat challenging and stays clean for your kids, I would still highly recommend this game.
After playing the demo on Xbox Live and getting hooked, I had to purchase this game. The graphics are beautiful and the gameplay is addictive fun. I can’t compare it to the movie because I have not seen it yet, but I enjoyed playing this game thoroughly from batting goblins to death to painting the fairies to running through the house and yard collecting stuff. This is coming from a mom of a 10 year old. I got hooked before my daugher did. Very cute, fun and entertaining game and now with the game marked down to $10 why not try it out? I paid full price for this game and still thought it was worth every penny.

This game is so much fun! I would recommend this for just about anyone. It does have mild violence so if you don’t want your children fighting Goblins this isn’t your game, but it’s fun it’s challenging and can be a learning tool for children. It’s a very cute game.
Great deal for what has become one of my sons favorite games. This was for my 12 year old. He’s a fan of the series and the movies but an even bigger fan of the game, so when I saw the price drop – I grabbed it – he’s loving it!
My nine year old son LOVED THIS GAME! It’s the first game I’ve found for X-Box 360 that IS NOT VIOLENT that he actually sat down and played, and as a parent, I seriously appreciate that! He eventually beat the game, and still plays it regularly. It’s nice to find something He likes that doesn’t offend Me!
