alot of people say there is no free roam in this game, well they are high the entire game is a free roam map and you drive to your races, its almost like midnight club LA. and customizing you can customize actually "racing" parts that effects your vehicle just not your colors and rims (pointless stuff that won’t change how you race.) overall great graphics great gameplay 5 out of 5 stars.however there is 1 con and that is with EA they always release a game and then within 6 months dump the game come out with a new one and stop supporting the old so no matter how great this game is it wont last for more than a year i’d say.
Excellent game. Perfect for my 8 year old. My 12 year old plays it as well. However, the game Does not have a 2 player mode. Only one person can play at a time..
This is one of the better racing games out there. I just wish it had more car views. There are only 2, ground level and behind the car.

Bought it for my teenager. He loves it. I liked the graphics and thought it was a fun racing game for being on a console, but personally I prefer them at the arcade over playing at home.
I’ve been playing the Need for Speed franchise for years and this is easily the best they’ve made in a long time. I had loads of fun with it and now own it on two platforms.
I’ve seen all of the criticism about this game not ‘fitting in’ with the Need For Speed franchise, and I can understand that. I was never interested in the micro-managing aspects of other racing titles, where you had to figure out which engine, which tires, which body moulding to buy…I just want to drive and have fun. This game delivers that experience.I loved Burnout: Paradise. It grew boring, however, because there was no "ok, now what?" factor to it. You drove, you crashed, you raced, but there was no ‘skin in the game’ feeling to it. The entire time I played that game, I was thinking of the NFS games like Hot Pursuit and Most Wanted, and fervently wishing that Burnout: Paradise had THAT kind of gameplay.Well, now it does. I’ve told my friends that this is basically Burnout: Paradise with police chases. And that makes it awesome, fun, and exciting. Collecting the new cars is fun, beating the challenges is fun, trying to beat my friends’ accomplishments in the game is fun. I play games to have FUN, not to construct a factually accurate racing platform with minute attention to detail!It looks great, the sound is great, and it’s one of those 360 titles that I can throw in and play for a few free minutes and have a little fun, without having to worry about reaching a waypoint, a quest location, or a pivotal plot moment. Just get in and drive.If you can accept it for what it is, it’s great fun. If you expected something more Need For Speed-ish…you will pr.
