Good!
Soul Sacrifice is a great game. I’ve played it in little bits of 10 minutes, as well as a few sessions of a couple of hours each, and it works well both ways. The story is engaging, well written, and dark. If you’re looking for a light-hearted adventure, you should have picked anything besides a game called Soul Sacrifice!Graphics are amazing. Music is also good, except for the singing melancholic chick in the Journal menu… she drove me a little nuts after a while, and made me want to go through the menu as quick as possible.Overall, though, I recommend this game! One of the best on the PS Vita thus far.
Well this was my second game on my vita, and guess what? it was amazing, its gameplay is a little confusing at first but then it became so easy to play it and it will give you a hard experience but once you mastered it, you will become a champion, the story is strange thats why i like this game, so if you wnat some challange with a low price, here’s your order :D
Me gusto al maximo
I’ve owned a Vita for quite a while to get ahead of the game and be prepared for a new Monster Hunter game. That didn’t happen. Fortunately other great games have been released on the Vita and it’s getting a very nice library now. Soul Sacrifice is by far my favorite title. The game play is very enjoyable, I find myself trying to go back and defeat monsters (boss monsters are called archfiends) with more finesse to earn new spells and sigils and upgrade my current ones. The story is dark, moving, and interesting, as is all of the lore. Every monster and location has it’s own back story than you can learn about, and this gives me some insight on if I want to sacrifice or save them. Saving them grants you an ally and increases your life, while sacrificing them grants you more power. They recently released free DLC that adds a few new features, new sacrifice, and two new monsters. I really can’t recommend this game enough, all Vita owners should have this in their collection.
Great game!Pros:Long campaignCool storyGreat voice actingChallenging missionsAmazing soundtrack/musicLore is well-written and seriously interesting (if you take the time to read it which you should)Fun factorCons:Repetitive enemies/levelsOverall this game rocks. Don’t believe the overly critical reviews, especially IGN’s where the guy didn’t even get decent ratings on any level because he just used the same melee weapon the whole time. And he only did the bare minimum quests, which is about a third of the content. This game is deep, and it will give back the love you put into it. If you’ve got a Vita, you owe it to the system and yourself to get Soul Sacrifice.
I don’t know if Soul Sacrifice is going to turn Vita – the most advanced portable gaming platform in the known Universe – into the leading portable gaming machine but it is going to make my Vita experience a lot more enjoyable and it’s the kind of game I wish there were a lot more. Here are my notes after playing full Sacrifice for a couple of days (played the demo prior to that). This long-awaited, at least by me, RPG has you playing as a guy about to be sacrificed by a crazy wizard. But… wait, it doesn’t end there. A magic book shows up and trains you to fight him by reliving the events of the wizard who wrote the book. You have the option to fight the final boss whenever you feel ready but he is really tough so the story mode of the wizard who wrote the book and a lot of quest grinding is needed. The quest system is similar to that of the “Monster Hunter” series, as in you have a menu of missions with objectives like ‘kill a number of monsters’, or ‘kill this boss in this amount of time’, and then you get dumped in a special area to complete the objective. By grinding quests you get some in-game currency and, more importantly, spell tokens (sacrifices) you earned based on your performance You also have access to AI allies or find help from online players for any non-story mission (nice, nice, nice). You only fight with spells, but there is a lot of variety with projectiles, weapon supports for you and allies, transformations, summoning and probably more – I haven’t finis.
In the beginning I was doubting in purchasing this game, but once I started playing, I don’t regret it. This game is soooooo worth it!Amazing graphics, amazing story line, epic boss battles, the game is a masterpiece. If you want to buy this game, go for it! Don’t doubt about it. You won’t regret it!!
Great game lots of fun. I have really played it fully but. But the little I have I have really enjoyed the game.
Heard good things about this game so I bought it and gave it a try. Here is what I though of it.************************************************************************PROS******************************************************************************Great combat:- This is the best aspect of this game. In the beginning when you have limited weapons and knowledge of the game, it won’t be fun but once you gain different type of weapons and magic, the combat becomes very engaging and addicting. To save or sacrifice choices make the combat strategic and fresh.Amazing bosses:- This is other aspect that promoted me to move forward in the game. As you finish more, you face more and more interesting bosses with different abilities. It was fun to come up with different strategy to beat bosses.Great Weapon/Magic variety:- As mentioned before, there are great variety of weapons and magics you can unlock in this game. What is more impressive is the combos you can do with different elemental weapons and magic, which make battles very enjoyable and addicting.Decent challenge:- Different mission are ranked in terms of their difficulty. So you can finish them according to your comfort. This way if you are not ready for harder missions, you can refinish the easier missions, collect more items, strengthen your weapons and magic and then take on the difficult missions.Good Story:- I was not expecting much in this direction but this game has probably one of the better stories I have experienced i.
