Utilizing next-gen technologies, light bloom, and environmental motion-blur effects, Sonic’s breakneck speed and dazzling world come to life. In his first adventure set in the human world, Sonic meets a beautiful princess named Elise, whom he quickly befriends, but Princess Elise is abducted by none other than the calculating Dr. Eggman who is working under dark and sinister motives, to destroy this special kingdom of hers. In order to restore safety and serenity, Sonic must maneuver his way through a series of adventures and challenges where he will encounter and interact with a bevy of allies and enemies, and ultimately go head to head against the menacing doctor to thwart his malicious plans.

Overall, I would recommend this to any MK fan, either those that have kept up with the series or those that haven’t played it in a long time. It’s a great reboot of the series, that essentially resets the story along with returning to the original gameplay (which is both good and bad). There are a few innovations that set this apart from other fighters and really moves the franchise forward.
I bought this game for my neighbor son because he made the "A" honor roll.He loved the game, stayed up most of the night playing it. He was got up the next morning playing it before going to school. Do not come out to play with his friends. His parents has to make him do his homework, eat, and go to bed. He really enjoyed this game

I love this game because it incorporates the old-school Sonic while presenting new challenges. It’s better than many of the other titles I have played like Sonic Colors or Sonic Rivals.
I have been a life long Sonic fan. Even as an adult I can’t let go of the little blue guy…. probably never will haha. I lost my favorite game during a move. Ordered it from retrolio and here I am now on level 8. Game was new and free of damage, though it didn’t come with a little booklet (the ones tucked inside with the disk).
Cool game and my nephew loves it. Brings me back to my childhood except this game is way faster. Cool graphics.

Sonic is finally back with a game many of the old school Sonic players can actually enjoy. The controls are tight and precise whilst playing as Classic Sonic and the gameplay is as fast and varied whilst as Modern Sonic. The levels themselves are a mix of old and newer levels that come in a 2D and 3D play setting for both Sonics. The thing about this title that some people may be turned off about is that is practically a “greatest hits” game since it does involve levels that most Sonic faithful have already played at least once before. Aside from that fact, it really is a quick, fun, and fast ride with the old Sonic we know and love, and a little bit of that modern Sonic that showed promise of a new format to play as. Now i’f you’ll excuse me, I’m going for a Chili Dog. Gotta Stride, Clyde.
