Husband loved the game.
A lot of fans have given this release a hard time. I notice the few clunky details but altogether I thoroughly enjoyed the new voice acting and upgraded effects. These are classic games and the rerelease is a nice way to introduce them to new players. I bought this for my friend who has dodged the franchise until I got him to play Downpour, which he enjoyed. I’d recommend this to new fans who won’t be so uptight about the minor imperfect issues. I would not recommend this to very picky fans who have already played the original versions several times.
I didn’t have any of the bugs or glitches that other people seemed to have had. That being said, I had different opinions of 2 and 3.I starting playing 2 after playing Homecoming (the first SH game I’ve ever played). I was annoyed with Silent Hill 2 at first because the controls were so different from Homecoming and it took some time to get used to, but once I got the hang of it, I liked it well enough. It’s probably my least favorite of the series though, particularly because the storyline doesn’t seem to have anything to do with the rest of Silent Hill. I liked Silent Hill 3 a lot more. As a woman, I liked playing a strong female character, and there some good scare moments during the game.
I adore Silent Hill and the HD collection was really awesome!

Dont Listen to the bad reviews about this game i’m convinced people have gone mental over video game reviews the past few yearsThis game is EPIC i have all the Originals for ps1 ps2 and this HD version is really good everything is in HD and crisp and the new voice overs i actually like . this game still gives out this scary creepy vibe even after all these years.. well worth the price to add to you collection..
This was a Christmas gift for my son. Haven’t heard any complaints so I’m guessing he liked it.
Bugs aside, these are 2 classics that absolutely deserve your attention. 2 of the finest games ever produced, you owe itto yourself to look into these titles. I can’t speak highly enough of these games, and in terms of storytelling, part 3 is simplyone of the best things in all of history, much less the world of games.5 stars. AMAZING!
I just finished slienthill 2 and it was so amazing and so exciting! I have never played before and it was great! I’m now on silent hill 3 and I’m legit so amazed by it! It’s pretty damn scary I will tell you that! Would recommend To people who like horror games!
