I bought this game for my boys (ages 10, 8, 4) the day it was released without having read any reviews. I must say that I really lucked out because THIS GAME IS GREAT! Everyone in the family, and the neighborhood kids think it is great. It is also hilarious.From scene to scene you are changing which character you go through the story with, and each character . has their own fighting style, special moves, etc. The bad guys (guards from the castle, wicked witches, cyclops, evil “pinocchios”, and many more) are awesome. There is TONS of fresh dialog and comical interaction going on all of the time. It all had the same off beat Shrek humor and pop-culture references, but is definitely clean and appropriate for younger audiences as well as older ones.The multiplayer catapult game, where you try to destroy the opponents castle is great. The minigames are also a blast. You can keep playing the game, even after you complete portions of it, by going back to complete more quests, and gather more coins in order to by outfits and other items for in the “Store”. For example, you can buy Shrek a pirate costume or a suit of armor.The Wii remote works very well for this game, although I would like to have seen some more crazy movement such as that required by Rayman Raving Rabbids (i.e. where you have to swing the cow over your head, or move the remotes real fast to run the race) — I prefer to have the kids being more active. Nevertheless, there is movement required, and on top of that.

Shrek the Third is worth buying. It has endless new challenges and new settings. If you run into an area that you can’t figure out look on you tube under Shrek the third walkthrough speedrun and it will show someone figuring out every level. Great for adults too!
Got to my home on time and was new, as promised. I have had issues in the past in ordering something new, from other shops, and receiving an items that had obviously been used.
I’m not a fanatic over the Shrek movie series, but they are fun to watch. This one feels like you are actually playing a part in the movie! The MULTIPLAYER PARTY GAMES are the best! They kept us (a group of teenagers to late 20 years old) entertained competitively while laughing the whole time. GREAT FUN!
I purchased this for my 58 year old mother (I know, right). She absolutely LOVES it!! This was definitely a great purchase!
Love Shrek
This is a pretty fun game, however, I wouldn’t want my kids playing it. Just like the movie, there is some adult humor. My kids are too young to understand it yet but I do not want them running around saying it.
