Shrek Super Party is a party video game release in 2002 by Mass Media. The game is base on the Shrek film series. But the game is similar to Pac-Man Fever (which has the same developer) and the Mario Party series of games.
Gameplay
The characters Shrek, Fiona, Donkey, Lord Farquaad, Thelonious, and Monsieur Hood are available for play. Also five realms are available for play, each with its own mini-games: The Keep, The Windmill, The Swamp, The Castle, and The Farm. And the cover features four color castles and four characters Shrek, Donkey, Princess Fiona, and Lord Farquaad. Some are team games and the teams are always restrict to P1/P3 vs P2/P4.
However, the purpose of the game Shrek Super Party is to be the first player to collect a certain number of “Precious Drops”. And this number can be preset in the “game settings” menu at the beginning of the game as anything between 200 and 800 in intervals of 100. And the drops can be collect through making bug matches or by reaching “Realm Caches”.

We bought this game to play while on vacation, and it turned out to be a huge hit! Our blended family includes kids of ages 2, 5, 6, 8, and 11, and we were all hooked (parents included). The littlest one likes to watch, or pretend to play by holding a control. We found the skirmishes to be the best part,which can be played by between 1 and 4 players at a time. Five months later we’re still playing it at least every couple weeks, which is unheard of in this household.

This game is good clean fun. I easily recommend it if you have kids. I have a 4 year old and 7 year old and they can’t stop playing this game. I give them 1 hour a day to play games(sometimes a little longer) and this one has been a hit for weeks. It’s good, clean and healthy competition and there’s no cursing or blood and gore to give the kids nightmares.

All I can say is this is one of the most inventive games I have seen.Actually you have lots of mini-games to choose from, all with fantastic interface for more than one player (hence the name party).. The games are fun, and different everytime you play. Although you can play on your own, the game really shines playing against family or friends. Game is fantastic for younger kids, and parents alike.. Teens wont like it, because they don’t like anything parents like.. :)

when your playing this game on your own it can get kind of boring but when played with 2 or more, its really fun. its almost like the mario party games which are also fun. the bobble-headed characters look funny too. its a good game if your looking for fun, not a plot or strategy game you have to save. its fun.
