That’s probably the best D-Pad you can get for your Switch, no exaggeration. I also got impressed that the tilting controls worked flawlessly in Zelda (for aiming and such), the fact that the controller is so light is a huge boost on that front. Analog controls are perfect and surprisingly well placed, with longer throw and a sensibly wider base and grip than the original one. Only lukewarm aspects are that the control might feel too squished in, probably unsuitable for larger hands (not a problem for me) and the rumble is not too intense and apparently only happens in one side of the controller. Not enough for removing any star from its qualification, that’s a very high caliber controller with that classic SNES/SFamicom feel. If that’s what you looking for, look no further and click on that buy button :)
Great game for those who like detective games and challenging puzzles.
my wife loves sherlock holmes games, so we got this for the PS3 and PS4,it’s a great game
This game is absolutely amazing! Its full-on interactive, similar to games like – “The Last of US, and Hard Rain”. The games beautiful, yet none-open world environments will captivate you and hold your interest at every turn. This game is like a movie and develops all the characters throughout your journey. This game is mainly about solving murder mysteries and crimes. There are lots of areas that are gruesome and bloody, with plenty to investigate. It can get a little difficult at times because this game makes you think like a real life police detective. You’ve got to figure things out on your own in order to beat this difficult game. Overall, I love the roller-coaster ride of emotions and intrigue the games characters will take you through everywhere you go throughout your complex interactive environment. Use the environment and interactions with others you meet to solve crimes. The clues are there you have to figure it out!1. This game is highly interactive.2. You must look for clues in your environment.3. This game has gruesome, and bloody crime scenes.4. The computer graphics & detail are PS3 level.5. The environment is full of detail and realism.6. This game is full of mystery.7. This game has lots of trophies to collect, including a platinum Trophy.8. You control everything that happens.9. The stories and mysteries are shocking and will test you to the limit.10. The sound quality is poor, graphics are PS3 level, and interactive environments are somewhat fair…all thes.
For the first time in a Sherlock Holmes game, I felt like I was doing the actual detecting. Pouring over clues and crime scenes and arriving at my own deductions. Just like Sherlock, I was figuring out, whodunnit!Sure, the puzzles can be bad! They weren’t horrible, but a few of the puzzles seemed "Forced", for lack of a better word. Still, it didn’t impact my level of enjoyment! Not even in the slightest! In fact, I would say that this title is the best Sherlock game released(With the Awakening coming in a close second!).Everything about this game, from it’s beautiful locals and stunning graphics, to the amazing voice acting. It all piles together to create the most incredible Sherlock Holmes gaming experience to date.
This is a good game, though it has some flaws that can be ignored such as bad animation and graphics that’s like an early ps3 game. One major complaint from me is that I personally don’t like the way the cases are designed. Even though the game has a correct answer at the end of a case, no matter what you picked the game still says you’re right in a certain way. I just don’t like that. Otherwise a decent game.
I thoroughly enjoyed this game. It’s not a game for those who enjoy non stop action, rather this game makes you think, put pieces of the investigation together in different ways, and come to a conclusion. However, you’re NOT always correct, and you may end up accusing the wrong person(s). If you enjoy games that require thinking critically, logic, and makes the time go by very quickly, you’ll enjoy this game immensely. I was disappointed when it ended.
Who would ever thought the that these would ever make a comeback. IMO its one of the best controllers of all times, and including the joysticks to make it moder, it’s just perfect to use in any situation. With the type c quick charging and long battery life, you’ll be taking this thing with you everywhere you go. You can connect it to your phone, pc, or any console and it’ll work perfectly.
Don’t bother spending the money on the official controllers. I paid for the official NES ones (50% off and still more than I wanted to pay). These are equal if not better quality than those. The connection to the Switch has been flawless, simply turn it on and go!I haven’t used it for other devices but that is a sweet option that you don’t get with the official ones.
Crimes and punishments follows everyone’s favorite sleuth through a series of distantly related cases, allowing you to not only have your parlor scene, but decide what should happen once you have your man.The graphics are nice and feel very much like the PBS series. Nothing is razor sharp crisp and everything has a softness to it that feels very appropriate. The voices are spot on and the actors actually put some decent emotion into their characters. The gameplay is somewhat hit and miss. The mini games feel a bit forced, and while the option is always present to skip, the mini games are so difficult to understand sometimes that the difficulty of the puzzle isn’t issue, its that the puzzle mechanics aren’t clearly explained. I spent five minutes trying to put a plank in place on a hole shaped exactly for it, not realizing I had to put the plank in place last, I guess. The moral choices are nice. You quickly learn that the first "victim" is a drunk monster, so is it really a crime? Well, it depends on who you finger, as you can get the culprit wrong by chaining together a logical sequence with only one or two clues out of place. The difficulty though is somewhat artificial. The clues are somewhat bizarrely put together and some of them are so obvious that you think they can’t really mean for you to put "rain" and "wet" together to get Holmes to go "Indeed! Rain IS wet!" But are otherwise decent, and the game does at least tell you when you have 2.
