great graphics, cool plot, neat traps.. worth having
This game is not by any means a game that sets new industry standards, but if you are a fan of the movies or the first game, give this one a try. The game play is most comparable to a really easy to use and fluid silent hill game. There are major improvements all across the board from the first game. The combat is much easier, the story is more complex and interesting and the game play is just better all around. Tobin Bell once again does the voice for jigsaw because the game would be a complete failure without him doing it, the graphics aren’t really any different from the first game, maybe a little more polished and the same semi-cheesy sound effects are there from the first game along with the score from the movie. Really, one of the only negative things is that some of the puzzles (like in the first game) can be extremely frustrating. Here is the all-in-all, and keep in mind, i’m really comparing this to the first game and i’m also a big fan of the movie series.game play – 9/10graphics – 7/10story – 8/10sound – 8/10″scare factor” – 6/10 (a few “jump out” moments here and there, with some cool gruesome scenes)overall – pretty sweet game 8.5/10 and hope they make more!

JIgsaw appears, Hello Zepp plays. The protag isnt supposed to look like a character from the movies. The story is interesting The traps are fun. The puzzles are fun. They are way to many collectibles. Combat consist of quick time events and Bullish Man battles are tedious as hell.Overall a much better game than the first. Fans of the saw series and fans of puzzle games should check out Saw II. Sadly, the story ties directly into the original game so if you care about the story, you need to at least watch a youtube playthrough.

When you compare this game and the first game to one another, you can really tell the difference. A lot of things have been cleaned up here, making this a smoother game transition than the first one. also, the game has more of a nice bloodbath feel in it and you want to set off a lot of traps just to see someone go down in that heap of glory. In fact, that’s one of the great things about the game – failing has a nice place in your heart and, if you really need some replayability, you are going to have to want it on the dying side. Otherwise you simply have something you can play through and then thing “why do I have to get all the glory that soon,” asking yourself where all the game went.I’ve seen the controls compared to a Silent Hill game and I agree to a point, but the thing that Silnt Hill has going in a bad direciton sometimes (and i love SH so don’t get me wrong here) is camera angling. This is not that stop and stick to whatever you get, with the angling working out better. You also have some moments when the game really goes out of its way to creep you out and I wish I would have gotten more of that. Honestly, “I wanna play a game” kicks off something terrible in a fun place within my psyche and I wanna play it through – safely.another nice thing is the voicing that you get when you run into tapes and whatnot. sometimes I did feel liek I was fetching this or that, but that led my to Tbin Bell and his scratchy type of terrorizing vocals as he told me what was at stake..
At first it was my wife’s choice, but she seems to have good taste. It’ very nice the way the game develops. The traps are more scaring than the ones on the first game.Nice purchase!
Great game
This is a great game, but it’s definitely more challenging than a lot of the games I’ve played. It’s really fun to play, but it can be kind of frustrating because of it’s difficulty.
