I just love my PSP 3000, you can’t go wrong with this. I have to go to alot of Dr appointments and it is a great size to fit in you purse and have something to do while waiting! Great game, I think you will be very satisfied with this purchase!
This is my first psp and it rocks. The psp 3k had a noted improvement for anti glare for playing outdoors, I have yet to have any problem with any visibility playing inside under any lighting conditions, no glare or haze at all.Bottom line all includes aside, The silver version of the psp is awesome worth the price and better than the piano black. NO smudge finger prints all over it to obsessively clean every two seconds. I checked out the store display at best buy and the gloss piano black would drive me insane with finger prints. This silver one has been well handled and it looks brand spankin’new like it did on x-mas morning.Im not a big fan of ratchet and clank games, and size matters is worse to me than there others. I’ve always prefered Jax & Daxter and cant wait to get Daxter to complete my collection.However despite not liking size matters, the box set was definitely worth it regardless.The movie that although I’ve seen before, I have watched again and enjoyed it on the psp. It was cool to see how well movies looked on the psp.The included 1gb of memory is doing great so far. Ive got several wallpapers, full digital download of Medieval, saved game data for two games and two game demos and I still have a lot of mem left. (digital games and demos can be downloaded from psp store directly.) All in all I bought this for everything it can do, not just the games. I did, however, buy 7 games right off the bat. I travel a lot and wanted something I could play music from, watch videos on, have pictures of my family on, surf the web and SKYPE with my family. It’s perfect so far. The gaming is just a bonus. I love the first person shooters and there has been quite a bit of freeze glitching as I am running around. I still beat 2 games already but I was somewhat frustrated at times.Also the “stick” seems to be off-centered and when I let go, in a game, the character starts walking to the right.. as you can imagine that would get frustrating when you are trying to stay hidin while being shot at.Other than that, it’s great. It is a source of entertainment while traveling and is very light which I love. I have ordered the web cam for it so I can truly SKYPE with my family while on the road. I hope it works.UPDATE: I replaced the thumb stick for relatively inexpensive and it works great. I never got the camera cause they were sold out and I heard you can’t use it for SKYPE anyways. :( It still works great and travel less now so I dont play it very much at all but will be traveling again a lot starting next month so I will be using a lot more.I found a PSP video converter and converted some of my digi-movies into PSP video and put them on a couple different 4GB SanDisk memory sticks so I can watch movies on the go to..Works great! Still waiting for a good hack ;)
good game
This is a clear upgrade from the 2000 series in my opinion. The screen is brighter and more realistic. It is less like a game console and more like a mini dvd player. I am not seeing the scan lines that others have mentioned. I did download the latest firmware before I played anything so maybe that resolved some of the issues. Games and movies look clean without any interference. My eyes aren’t the greatest, so for me the 3000 series was a much better choice. My advice is that if you have trouble viewing a 2000, check out the 3000.As for this pack, I’d hold out for the 4gb model. 1gb just isn’t enough once you start downloading demos and adding music, pictures, etc. I personally couldn’t see watching movies on this thing because of its size. Ratchet is is just a mediocre game at best.
PSP3000 console was the best console Sony has released its PSP with better screen, graphics very good,is very easy to use, entertaining, fun and very easy to share.
I personally recommend in this product psp 3000, this package is very complete.Its screen is very crisp and vivid colors, sound very good. For those who were concerned about the screen I say do not be afraid to buy this package because the psp 3000 is not the problem you say that you have with your screen, again I say excellent product.
