Why are you buying this game? Most likely it’s because you want to play a decent fps on a portable system. This does the trick. It uses dual analog sticks and gives you sufficient weapons to provide a fun experience. Multiplayer offers a level up system and varies the challenges. I don’t know what the critics were looking for on a portable system.
I love the game good story line easy trophies to get and the graphics are nit the best but its manageble butthe only thing i didn’t like was i still have to buy the online pass code i was kind of let down but anyway this game gets 4/5 stars because the shipping was quick and never expected it to come so soon but great shop,good game, 4/5 my man.
Resistance has always been one if my favorite "new" series I wasn’t a FPS fan until I played Fall of Man on PS3 but anyway, this game picks up the mantle in a okay sort of way. The gameplay is typical resistance shooting chimera and what not but with added with touch control that honestly doesn’t help or hurt the gameplay it’s just kinda there. The over all gameplay does get kind of dull also it’s pretty short 5/6 levels worth and the story itself is pretty bland (okay really bland) the online portion is your typical deathmatch or Team Deathmatch and some new type of game mode that I wasn’t able to try because the servers are close to dead took me like 20 min to find a game I could join. But I still wouldn’t say this is a bad game but I wouldn’t say it’s a great game either. For 10 bucks though I’m happy!

I mainly bought this just for the trophies, but the game is fun. Nothing amazing or ground breaking but it was enjoyable regardless.

Wonderful game! Long campaign, great for traveling. Cool effects and stuff that are really good. And it is reasonably priced
its not bad at all i play it every once and a while definetly is a time killer….play it when im bored when i wanna play it….not much like the ps3 game but then it wasnt expected to be but its a whole lot of shooting the aliens upgrading the weapons getting new ones trying to complete the objectives best as i can…but overall its pretty good glad i bought it and enjoying playing it

This is a very good game, it proved to me that a fps can work well on ps vita. It is very underrated by critics, however it is not perfect. It is similar to other resistance games (linear, chimera shooting action).The Good: Gameplay mechanics are solid, touch controls are not overdone. The game looks great most of the time. The weapons are awesome, good ones like the bullseye and auger return. New weapons and secondary fire are cool. Online play is lag free and fun.The bad: the story is pretty bland, they tried to make it like resistance 3(focus on a family), but did a poor job. They should have focused more on the global invasion. The sound is pretty bad, weapon sounds could be played on a game boy color. It has an online pass. The final boss was near impossible and frustrating.Overall a fun game, fairly easy except for the final boss. Took about 5-7 hours to beat. By far the easiest platinum I have ever gotten. There is a $10 online pass, so buy it new if you want to play online or get platinum. I recommend the trilogy to anyone that likes this game.
