Interesting concept and good looking graphics. The combat can be a little monotonous at times but I really enjoyed playing the game. Would definitely like to see a part 2 to this.
nice and different game
I loved it
I liked the story a lot, it was very creative and unique. It feels like that is where they spent most of their budget though and then put what was left into the game play itself. The combat system was really well done, it just wasn’t anything new or exciting. Which is sad, because this game could have been so much better.
well I enjoyed the story line and the graphics the most the game play was different it wasn’t hard or anything but Im glad I got it..
The overall concept behind this game was a great idea, sadly a lot of the core game-play suffered from being like a basic hack-and slash. The part that makes "Remember Me" truly stand out are the scenes where you re-write memories and get to play out different possibilities. The game would be much better if it was more like a puzzle game with more of those and less of a wandering hack-and-slash. The storyline itself is a little cliche and predictable at times, but overall they still did a pretty good job. The game is also pretty short, I think it took me about 10 hours to complete everything. Hopefully there will be more DLC memory sequences to improve upon the game.
Although this game did not life up to the initial hype. The story is interesting, the game play mechanics are polished enough that the game remains reasonably fun if the story is not doing it for you.Not to spoil, but the main character turns out to be extremely modern which was nice considering my disposition…But alas … modern visuals and interesting story concept had characters that did things that I found only in Japanese culture. I really like anime, but some time character motivations drive me crazy, and I found some of the things people do not believable enough. I can see where things were going, but I found character experiences that are conveyed was not enough to go with the motivations to their actions. I hope that made sense. At under 30 bucks the game gets a better score because of I guess the value for what you get. If I paid 59.99, it probably would get 3 stars. It would be wonderful if the expand this universe… no one title could give enough of this neo Paris future world… IMHO is striking and beautiful beyond some of the horrible human situations and stories that are told to entertain.
Would be a hell of a lot more fun I the software mfgr would have included better instruction manual.
good game
It’s one of the few games of the year besides Defiance, Tomb Raider and other games that captivated my attention to play the game. I was mostly interested in the plot, which runs similar to Bioshock Infinite in terms of a society that is content with the illusion given by those who are higher in power. However in this game, it gives you the privilege as the protagonist to be able to see through that illusion. It explores on a lot of technological advancements, singularity as well as many aspects of artificial intelligence and the extent of such advancement and its disadvantages in a society where it is in constant use. The game could have used some polishing with the combat system, it is overly complicated and does not always execute with too many enemies at a time. The city of Neo Paris could have been less narrowed down and been more spacious for more scenery and places to go and explore. It is definitely worth a buy and offers a unique gaming experience for those that want something a bit different from first person shooters, give it a try.
