this is a sweet game for dreamcast the boxer are some what comey in the game it rocks
Back when the original came out on the Dreamcast(best system ever made) it was great. The graphics at the time where incredible especially for a launch title. Im sure this game helped Sega sell a few system’s. I remember they seem to have this game running on every Dreamcast Kiosk. The first game was pretty original and was good little game at the time. This came out about a year later. Although they did improve the graphics a little and the music some they core of the game remain unchanged. This can be a good thing and a bad thing at the same time. Midway knew it had a hit on their hands when the original came out. They didnt want to mess with the original formula much. The core of the game pretty much remained unchanged. They added a few touchups and a few more things here an there and improved the Championship mode as well. However, not enough was done to implement more features other than new boxers overall the game didnt evolve much. In a way you can say its more of a 1.5 than a part 2. You can say they dressed up the original and a few more characters to it. The AI in the game while not bad isnt great after a while you’ll get the hang of it. After you played it for a few hours it starts to wear a little thin. However, you will have fun playing it before you arrive at that point. The game is much better if you play with a friend or use it as a party game with a few friends. All in all its a decent game just for the most part its the same as Part 1. Which is good in a w.
Ready 2 Rumble " is a vast improvement on the first. The graphics are amaazing and i thought that they wouldn’t be able to improve on the first but they have. The game is great escpecially with the extra charaters that are available, and i like the concept of the triple rumble bar, which when it is full you are able to knock your opponemt out of the ring. Congratulations to the makers on a sucessfull sequel
Shipping was quick I love this game
Great game! More characters to choose from and lots more unlockable secret characters which adds to the replay value. The controls are easy to grasp and each character is very diffrent has their own special abilities. The downside is each time you beat the game on either arcade or story mode you have to sit through the credits and that takes a couple minutes — when you really wanna take those couple minutes to see what character you unlocked!Overall it’s a great game! I’d recommend it to anyone… provided they have a Dreamcast or even know what a Dreamcast is, really…
cool
Great condition, prompt shipping, love this game with great character!!
good
I bought this game for my cousins. I really thought it was a bit too silly for my tastes. They’d give it 5 stars, I’ll take one away because of my thoughts on the game.First, my cousins perspectives. A barrel of laughs and a whole lot of fun. They both will sit down in front of the TV for hours playing this game, just beating the stink out of each other until they have to go. They don’t care for Michael Buffer, but they do enjoy the boxer comments.Second, my perspective. It’s just a button masher to me. I’m sure there’s technique there, I just don’t have the desire to discover it beyond some minor experimentation. The game has excellent graphics and sound, it just seems to get old fast. You circle around and punch. Once the intial novelty of the graphics and humour dissipate you’re left with repetative gameplay. Saving grace to this is the multiplayer. Adding friends and family as opponents instead of the AI is a blast. After a short period of time, you’ll be skipping everything just to get to the fight. So if you don’t have friends and family to play with or against, it’s just an arcade boxing game that probably won’t hold your interest for long.
Best fun boxing game ever need to make another one
