There isn’t much to be said about this. It is a compilation of the first three R&Cs on one disk with updated graphics and trophies. It’s exactly what you’d expect for an updated re-release.Now because I don’t want to leave this review at that…I’ve noticed that when A LOT is happening on screen at once, the game starts to go in slow motion, which is obviously a flaw, but I actually find it kind of cool; I even deliberately make it happen sometimes. Regardless, it goes away as soon as things clear up, like as soon as all the explosions your making go away and you’ve absorbed all the bolts when there is a mass in your vicinity.Trophies are a good incentive to finish each game one hundred percent; not that they aren’t fun enough on their own to do so anyway. A tad bit disappointing, though, that some are just skill points. Not a big deal, but it’s something.One thing that this collection has done for me is made me appreciate the advancements of the series. The addition of strafing was insanely useful and it is VERY annoying having to Pause the game and go into the gadgets section to reach a gadget you need for this ONE part of the level. You could put them all on your wheel, but then you’d have to do the same for weapons. Don’t appreciate what you have till it’s gone indeed.Very fun games and an insanely good deal. These collections are great bang for your buck. If your a fan and just want to play the old games again or if you just need something that’ll eat up some time, don’t.
The first game is ok, but the 2nd and 3rd games are totally awesome. I have been playing for months, and the collection still delivers like the first. Can’t go wrong with R & C!
Hours of fun came in in great condition!
I remember playing these on the ps2 when I was a kid and loved them. Still just as fun now that I am an adult, but they are super cheesy story lines.
One of the best HD collections on the Playstation 3. While the miss-advertised 1080p resolution is disappointing (it’s 720p native), the collection still looks fantastic and runs buttery smooth (60fps). The gameplay holds up surprisingly well after all these years, and the level designs are more creative than what’s being made in many third person action games today. A must buy!!
Nostalgia – that’s all I have to say. Love that I can play all three of these amazing games and relive my childhood.
Christmas present for my little girl, we played the demo at the display in a "big box store" and she was begging me for it ever since.
This set of 3 games is just what I remembered from from my first set that were for the PS2. I have been playing them since I received them.They came quickly.I love Ratchet and Clank games. They test your mental ability. And are great for eye and hand coordination.I gave it 5 stars because it is great!
It’s as annoying to play as I remember it. The Nostalgia has never been this Strong.
I played all three of these Ratchet and Clank games when they came out on the PS2. This game improves the graphics without changing the style. The gameplay remains fun as ever and the classic difficulty is still there. This game is great for new comers to the series and veterans a like. I am thoroughly enjoying my HD play through of the series.
