This game is a geared towards multi-player fun for everyone or anyone that enjoys a non stress and relaxing game. The comments from the characters used on the game make it fun even if played as a single player. This game is entertaining, fun and lives up to the franchise name and previous game standards. a must have for multi player and for those with children in their homes.
I am a huge Ratchet & Clank fan. I have all of the games from PS2-PS3 and I even bought the converted ones from PSP to PS-2. I love all of the games for their gameplay…however this game did not quite live up to my expectations. I did not like the 4 player option. I did not like the way the game scrolled. I did not like how you could not see certain sections of the board because you had to wait for your partner to move towards you. I played it in offline mode single player the first time and clank sort of did his own thing. Got really annoyed with clank in this one because of the AI that controlled him. Hopefully for the next game they will go back to the original format of the other games. The first three for PS3 (2 disk games, 1 DLC) were absolutely amazing.)
This game is different for Ratchet and Clank (RC), of course, but I still had a blast playing it. The gameplay is not quite as refined as a typical RC adventure (the camera had to be compromised in order to accommodate the multiplayer, for instance), but it’s still a really fun game. It gives you a bit of a different perspective on the weird, wonderful universe of lombaxes and robots, and it was a lot of fun to voyage throughout. I also really enjoyed the fact that Qwark was a playable character!

there are some really long poor reviews here, this game doesn’t deserve it. If you’re a casual gamer enjoy previous ratchet games, you should love this one. I appreciate Insomniac changing the visual style of the game after so many installments, the characters are adorable, (a bit more exaggerated than usual) the dialogue is great .the designs by creaturebox are just amazing, look up their blog and deviant art page for their art and paintings. can’t beat the price either.
because my son love it. he had it beat in three days. and then he was on the next one.
The graphics are awesome and its really easy to figure out how to play good family game. It can be played online or offline and has multiplayer option as well. Easy to end up spending a couple hours on it without realizing it. Great fun loved this game and so did my kids.
Die-hard Ratchet & Clank purists might want to watch out for this “black sheep” title in the catalog. The closest comparison to this game is Ratchet: Deadlocked for the PS2. This game focuses more on co-op gameplay than it does on exploration and the RPG elements of the prior games. All 4 One features a locked camera and up to 4-player online or offline cooperative gameplay (although 2-player co-op is most ideal). Although a lot of fans of the original Ratchet & Clank formula will be turned off, this is still a pretty good title to check out as long as you keep an open-mind.Pros+ lots of fun if you have some buddies to play through with+ great-looking cut scenes with witty dialogue and great voice-acting+ varied weaponry and upgrades+ many varied locations+ still contains skill points, trophies, and the RYNOCons-locked camera-lacks exploration of previous games-Weapons and health aren’t upgraded through frequency of use anymore-some irritating glitches and bugs (dieing during the final boss fight for no apparent reason)
Great game which allows you to play with multiple local players in your household. It allows up to 4 players, the game is super fun to play and has nice cartoonish graphics that are good for kids. I highly recommend this.
I play this game with my 11 year old daughter, we both love it.
