Unless all you like are serious shooter games, it’s a little difficult to find a cool, funny, and fun game for the PS3. This game is my favorite. I stayed up to play it almost every night. You can play it again when you’re done- there are several different levels of difficulty to choose from. The graphics are great and I really enjoyed the Sixaxis levels a lot- dropping through the air and moving the whole controller in order to avoid getting hit as you fly downward. I can’t imagine anyone in the world not loving this game.
A single player action game thats good even for the young ones. The graphics are extremely vivid and the game is challenging throughout the whole game. Would definately recommend buying this game. Challenging and fun.
Great game for family playing
Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction. (known as Ratchet & Clank: Tools of Destruction in Europe and Australia and Ratchet & Clank Future in Japan) was developed by Insomniac Games, and was released on October 23, 2007 for the PlayStation 3. This was the first Ratchet and Clank game for the PlayStation 3, and the first in the Future trilogy. In this installment, the self-proclaimed crown prince of the Cragmites known as Emperor Tachyon is after Ratchet, claiming that he is the last Lombax in the universe. He and Clank escape to the Polaris Galaxy, befriending the Markazian Talwyn Apogee and two old war bots named Cronk and Zephyr, who help the two uncover the Lombax secret, Tachyon’s ultimate goal. Throughout the game, Clank encounters a mysterious race called the Zoni, who assist him at various points in the game, only to abduct him during the ending cut scene.Tools of Destruction’s weapon upgrade system introduces the need for Raritanium, an aptly-named rare resource mentioned in previous games, in exchange for certain upgrades, as well as continuous use of said weapons to upgrade them automatically.
Great game in the Ratchet and Clank tradition. If you’re a fan of any of the original games and in particular the future series, this is a must play
Ratchet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruction (R&C:ToD from here on) is a game that still looks great even by today’s standards for the Playstation 3. Launching just a month before Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune, R&K: ToD had a lot to live up to and boy did it. This game is a total blast to play and keeps the gameplay fresh and rewarding. Despite being geared for ages 10+, the game can be easily enjoyed by gamers of all ages due to how well the content was handled. If you love a good platform game, but also love to blow stuff up! this is the perfect game for you!GAMEPLAYR&C: ToD doesn’t stray much from the initial mold you are given early on. Gameplay comes across much like the Final Fantasy games of later, where you follow linear progression with little in the way of exploration. Upon completing the game or nearly being able to complete it, you can return to areas and explore for hidden items and areas. Same rule applies here for the most part; except you can return to previous areas at any time. Gameplay consists of navigating Ratchet and Clank throughout a level using platforming skills, and some pretty awesome weapons to reach the goal and progress the storyline. Puzzles and platform segments are very creative in their use of the PS3’s hardware. Playing this in 2011 it doesn’t seem too impressive these days, but for back in 2007 some of these segments clearly were designed to showcase what a Next Gen console could do; including using the six-axis for some segment.
I was so glad when Insomniac Games came back to make more Ratchet and Clank Game and they really delivered. The action, the suspense the new game mechanics and all new villains made this game worth while.
This is a great game. I am in my 20’s and wanted a break from shooters and this is a very funny title with fantastic art direction. It isn’t too challenging, butthat is why i got it. Great game, worth the cash if you want something light thaat isn’t too serious or heavy on action. Great game to chill out to (if you know what I mean) after a long day.
I love the game
If you like any of the previous Ratchet and Clank game you will like this one. It has some new moments with the 3-axis controls, but nothing overwhelming. I like all the imaginative weapons you have at your arsenal.
