If you are smart enough to know what fishing is and the fact u must experiment with lures, and are not the kind of person that needs instructions on a pop tart then you will enjoy this game,It gives ya a boat a lake and some tackle, what more ya need, simple yet complex game that’s a joy for hours, just listen to your own music.
After I learned to quips and quotes ,I have finished the tournaments and have enjoyed playing it. The boats were hard to operate at first but I learned to operate them.
We mistakenly bought this game instead of the Pro Bass Fishing (we’ve played both). We decided to keep it and figure it out. My husband and I had no luck for the longest time so we looked the game up. We learned that ‘letting out the line’ meant reducing the drag (They don’t tell you that). If it keeps breaking, put on a heavier line. We have the best luck with the 12 lbs fishing line. Our favorit method to hook one: gently shake your lure from side to side while slowly reeling in until a fish looks. To lure it in for a bite, SLOWLY inch it past their face little by little ‘reel, pause, reel, pause, reel pause’. Don’t pause long enough for it to completely stop or they’ll turn away nor go to fast. Once you get the hang of it you’ll be winning tournaments. The game is designed to simulate real fishing so keep that in mind. Your triggers are pressure sensitive in this game to change the speed you reel. I can now catch a fish every time we chose a spot. The controls are tricky to learn at first. Children who love fishing games like mine, may need to be coached with this one in the beginning. Mine is 7 and was proudly catching her own fish after only 15 minutes or so. I bought the Pro Bass afterwards. Both of these games are highly addictive!

I was so glad to find this as the first Rapala game my grandson had was destroyed by his lil bro.
This game is awesome for those rain cold days and you just cant go out fishing. My husband loves playing it and I would recommend it if you love fishing as much as he does..
