I like a good variety of games. For my PS3 collection, I want a little bit of everything for whatever mood I may be in. This is a great sporting game to unwind with. I like the gameplay quite a lot, and the nature element is terrific. It gives you options to hush up the announcers and whatnot – so if you’re eyeing this game because you like Rapala’s PS2 games, but the YouTube footage for this looks like it might be too obnoxious and noisy, don’t let that hinder your decision – you can shut all that sports center noise off. I put this one off for a little while, and was upset with myself that I had once I got the game. I thoroughly enjoy it. I love fishing games, but am particular about the ones that suit me. I liked the Rapala games on PS2, and am very happy with the Rapala, here, on PS3. The scenery is wonderful, the characters are appealing, and of course the fish are awesome. Some games are high tension, but this one is a good one to relax with and still be competitive with your gaming. I love the Rapala fishing games. A+

Fun game. Not as challenging as it could be. There are several ways to tell where to fish. Finding and catching fish is not hard on any level. Still a fun game however.

As far as modern fishing video games go, this one is probably the best around. Graphics are great and the diversity of fish is cool. I’m a catfish guy and I was really excited that it has channels, flatheads and bullhead. The game does get repetitive eventually, but I still play it months later a little bit each day.
I was looking for a good fishing game for my PS3 and I ordered Rapala Pro Bass Fishing 2010 because it looked very challenging. I like competing in the fishing tournaments and trying to catch as many fish as I can but it’s not that easy. It does require some skill in using the right fishing lures and also the ability to be able to cast your fishing line to the specified location. Once your line is cast into the water, you have to know how to reel in the line in order to attract the fish so they will take the bait. Once you hook a fish, you need to skillfully reel it into your boat. The game does offer you helpful tips on where the best fishing spots are located as well as showing the different types of fish there are and what the best lures in your tackle box are which will attract them to your fishing line. I also like the different fishing lakes this game has to offer and trying to find the best fishing spots. If you enjoy fishing, then you will definitely like this fishing game because it simulates real fishing skills and you have to know how to attract the fish and successfully reel them in without them getting away.

This is a great game if you love fishing. The different lakes and tournaments give you a variety to keep you playing.
