The children really enjoy this game and it got to our house quickly. It was a Christmas present so mommy was a hit. Thank you.
perfect
I bought this game for my son and he plays it for hours at a time. He is 11 and he and his friends love this game.
Love this game. Second one bought already. Had to give the first one away as a Christmas gift because they loved it so much.
This game is fun and intense, prepare for a work out. You may also need to prepare for some extra space in your living room.
Great FANTASTIC Price and my 10 yr. old grandson LOVES playing this game. Plus, I love all the Exercise , that he gets while he is playing this very active video game !!!! = )
I absolutely love my Kinect and have bought several games (Kinect Sports, Adrenalin Misfits, Sonic Freeriders), all of which I enjoy immensely. However, this game is without peer. It is a great workout and is just incredibly fun. I spent hours playing with friends, first in versus mode, and then we took turns playing through story mode. I would recommend fighting a few battles with the AI and getting up to at least level 2 before you play story mode, it makes the game a lot more challenging.
I bought this on sale for $20 as I wanted more then a ‘party’ game for the Kinect. It’s not a game i’d pay $60 for but for a gamer the only ones i’d pay that price for are the big titles Batman, ME, GoW, Halo etc. As for the game itself it was fun to play. The different suits you equip all have different abilities that are activated by performing the onscreen instructions, which so far have been picked up with no problem. It was a little harder for the younger kids (about 6-7) but I can’t really say it was any fault of the equipment or the game itself. Regardless they still enjoyed playing it.
This game requires minimal coordination to play, but pretty good timing to master (e.g. blocking, dodging, and attacking at the right time). For little kids, the timing can be tricky and frustrating. They also have a tendency to stop playing and just watch the screen, especially if the other player’s character is moving around.Sometimes it’s frustrating that the game won’t pick up the basic moves properly (it gets confused about kneeing, punching, and uppercutting, which is the bulk of what you do). The advanced "powerup" moves work very well because they rely on larger motions, such as flapping your arms like a bird, using one arm like a whip, or doing the "kamehameha" from Dragonball-Z. It’s rare for it to mess that up.I think kids will prefer playing against adults unless the kids are evenly matched. While it’s very fun and funny to watch kids learning the game and fighting each other, once they get comfortable a consistent advantage in timing will mean one kid completely destroys the other, match after match. Adults can moderate what they do to let the kids win.
I hate working out, I am super lazy but I love video games and I got kinect for x-mass so I bought this game to encourage me to move more and it works, very fun game:)
