I have played a lot of PR games on GBA….and two on DS including this one. I actually loved this game and think it is better than the newer Power Rangers Samurai. It really didn’t get good game critic reviews and I can’t figure out why. A lot of critics said the levels were bland….well….on the show, the fight scenes ARE in bland areas and this has been the case with every single PR game ever. There are many rangers with different moves to “unlock” or use. That part alone makes this game much better than Samurai which is more platformer than fighter since there were very few moves available to the rangers and kick moves are non existent. There are SO many fighting moves in this one it’s easy to forget some. Both ds games have advantages and draw backs and we fans really haven’t gotten a GOOD game but I think this one trumps the others. I love the ability to toss a baddie at the screen or straight into the air to pummel him in combo attacks. Replay value? Sort of—you CAN go back and replay missions for better bonuses and scores. If you have to choose between this or Samurai, I suggest going with this one as it feels more complete as a “fighter”—not perfect at all but a big improvement over other PR games and the story is not a rehash of a season but a blend of seasons and rangers with a fresh plot. Just a better experience all around. Parents who have complained their 3 year old…five year old…etc. can’t progress in either game…, both games are rated E fo.
This game has it all I hope. Ive played it before and can’t wait to more.
Fast shipping great condition, this game is better than the one for the wii and compares to to iphone edition. My son being an ardent an cannot get enough. The only breaks he takes is during the time that I’m playing!
I bought this game for my 5 year old son for Christmas. He loves Power Rangers! He absolutely loves this game, its easy for him to play. I’d recommend this game for young power ranger lovers to keep their time occupied. The only downfall i seen in this game is there is a lot of conversation and my son can’t read yet! But overall, its a great game!
bought it as a Christmas gift so I could not respond right away. when it was used had to change the language from Spanish to English. than it was sticking a bit. my kid hasn’t had any complaints with it since that time so I guess it was ok. It wasn’t new so I’m ok with that.
im a for real DIEHARD power ranger / super sentai / kamen riders fan ever since i first saw it as a kid growing up. the very first series. i love this game but the biggest disappointment is the lack of characters to play. i found myself playing as NONE of the rangers i wouldve chosen had i been in complete roster control. i mean you leave out all the AWESOME special rangers. jason *red ranger (austin st john) shows up to represent MMPR. where the hell is tommy? they skip zeo, lost in space, wild force, and so on.this game is meant to go along with a side story to operation overdrive including an in game only ranger from SPD. i had it for ps2 originally. looks pretty much the same on ds
My son loves the power rangers and hasn’t put this game down in days! He’s almost 4 and I was worried it would be too hard for him. But he has been able to play it without much difficulty. I’m so glad I found this for him!
Cool game
Good
it made my grandson happy
