Very interesting. If you like reading of days gone by in the pool world, this book will be a great read.
A somewhat riveting story, even if characters kind of run together. Comical use of most beautiful or best in the world. If you haven’t been close to an existence like this then it may seem hard to believe. Having said that, I plowed through it in about 24 hours.
Great story about pool as it really was back in the day. Road agents on a quest for greatness. Enjoyed every story. Will read it again someday when I need to get the road feeling again.

Having been in the pool hall business over fifty years this brought back many memories of times long gone.Having known some of these characters it was very true to form.
I could not stop reading it. But as reading it I was thinking of my own life as a pool player. I would recommend this book to every pool player in the country. Robert Bussiere, Ontonagon Michigan.
Awesome book with riveting details! Written in a style you can tell is all his own, he tells you what it’s like to live the life of a real hustler. I gather he still has his thumbs and the fact he’s still here to tell his true stories is a testament to his street smarts and people skills. It goes without saying Robert knows the game and flew in very high circles with the best players in the world. Be careful, he can probably still play a great game! :) Once you start, you won’t want to put it down until your done!
