Just received disc in white disc package, and the old sticker from Redbox. Disc was okay just wished for the case to match the rest if my games. Small kine, can fix.
Love that this is a non violent game that we can play with our kids. Multiplayer without having to be online was important to us. We are new to Minecraft world but my 8 year old and 4 year old love it as much as my husband and I.
Great! Sons plays it almost everyday!
Hours of fun
We bought this video for Christmas and are not disappointed. The graphics are awesome, the dialogue is fun, and it’s easy enough for an eight year old to figure out. My son has been asking for it for months. The controls are self explanatory and there are so many levels we have yet to beat the game. It arrived at lightning speed with retrolio Prime and was packaged well. I highly recommend this game if you’re a fan of the Sims or similar games.
I like the game – my granddaughter wanted to play and got me started on it. I played quite a bit for a while, but it gets old after a while. Playing on the computer might be better as there’s more room for expansion.
My boys love this game so much! We already had it on the computer, but my two older boys really wanted to be able to play it together. So, we got this for them, and they love it so so much. I have strict restrictions on the amount of time my children play video games, generally 1 hour max per day. But, this is the ONE game that I often make exceptions for. The creativity I see when they play, with the amazing things they build and are SO excited to show me, makes me so happy! The calm, soothing music it plays instead of fast paced, quickly-becoming-obnoxious, loud music and sound effects that accompany most kids video games out there today. I actually enjoy hearing the music when they play and have been known to tell them that they can turn up the music a few notches if they like!!! Also, the conversations between them as they play, as they talk about creating things, and how to create them, and think of new ideas… it’s just refreshing. I never thought I’d actually enjoy seeing my kids be so involved in a video game, but Minecraft is SO different.
Five hundred hours? One thousand hours? How long have I played Minecraft? I’ve lost track of time. At first I thought that this was a simple child’s game. That is….until night fell and the mob came out to kill me. I started with no tools, no armor, no weapons, no food, and no shelter. It was like a bad dream, but a bad dream with monsters at night. The game was challenging and it quickly became addictive. I died a lot in the beginning. A LOT. Slowly, I got the hang of the game. My dirt hidey hole in the ground became a ten story luxury condo. I terra formed my entire island as flat as a football pitch. I watched every darned dog or cat that I tamed get killed by creeper explosions. My record was losing SEVEN dogs at once. Eventually I did everything that I wanted to do, built everything that I wanted to build, explored the entire island both on land and underground. However, that took me probably 1,000 hours. There are people that have been playing Minecraft for years – since the game’s inception. There is a reason that Minecraft has a cult following and Minecraft gamers on Youtube have several million subscribers. This game is the best way to have fun and forget about life for a few hours. You are in another world….the world that you create. From age ten to age one hundred this is a fun game for everyone. Highest recommendation!
This game is surprisingly good, even though it is some years on now and perhaps past the height of its popularity. I am not as addicted as some others seem to have been, but it is nice to re-visit my work-in-progress seaside fortress every now and again. Just a nice feel-good game with no pretense, which there are not enough of nowadays.
My three kids love
